More Twitter Followers In 10 Simple Steps

More Twitter Followers In 10 Simple Steps

“How do I get more traffic?” is the cry far and near. There are numerous strategies to acquire more traffic and the proper use of Twitter is one of them. Note that I said proper, there is an improper way and in this article we will address these.

1. Make sure you take the time to compose a Twitter bio that will portray the message that you want others to know about you. What do you want them to know about you that are pertinent to your online business or other wards? Your bio will inspire people to follow you or not. Take the time to make it count.

2. Have you made any tweets before following people and hoping they will follow you back? In addition to a bio that informs people about yourself you want to post tweets that will inspire people with trust and confidence in you. Your tweets should be about your business. Provide links to your blog, website or content that you penned to let people know who you are.

3. Build rapport. Many people make the mistake to just sell to the people that follow you on Twitter. You want to create a relationship. If you write or find articles that will benefit your followers tweet them. If you find something that you think your followers will like then tweet them. Links to YouTube videos or other helpful resources are good.

4. Your Tweets need to grab the readers attention like a headline or subject line. Show that you can grab people’s interest. Since you have a limited number of characters you can use you should shorten your links. We will discus programs that will help with your Twitter account in another tip.

5. “Share the Love” Re-tweet other people’s tweets and some will return the favor, which will expose you to other people who may then decide to follow you. When people do re-tweet your tweets then you should thank them. It only takes a minute to click a button and say thank you.

6. Reply to people’s tweets, give them a compliment or thank them for sharing. These people may also decide to send you @ messages, which will also make their followers aware of you. Remember that you are part of a community and you can build valuable relationships.

7. Follow all of Twitter’s rules about following and un-following. Don’t become too aggressive or your account will be suspended. Try to keep to a 1 to 1.5 ratio.

8. Don’t be known as a spammer. If it is your intention to use Twitter to market to people it is recommended that you only have one marketing Tweet in every 10 Tweets. If all you do is try to sell people something, they will stop following you. Doing nothing but marketing tweets could get you labeled as a spammer, which could result in being banned. Remember Twitter is about being social first and marketing, if you do any marketing, second.

9. If you are using Twitter to market then look into software to do your Twitter work for you. There is one free website that can really help you use Twitter with more efficiency, Hootsuite.com. This service will submit your Tweets to a variety of sites for you. You will also be able to schedule your tweets so you can take your time to set up a day’s worth or more of tweets.

10. Software for automating Twitter is becoming more and more prominent and these programs will help you save a lot of time by finding specific followers for you based on keywords in their bio or even their associations within Twitter. This software will automate a lot of the manual tasks you would normally have to spend a lot of time doing. This way you won’t spend your time opening and clicking on the links of hundreds and thousands of emails. You can schedule tweets and much more. Review a number of these programs, automate Twitter and save your time.

Speed Indexing – 3 Steps to Getting Your Website Listed in Google Quickly

Speed Indexing – 3 Steps to Getting Your Website Listed in
Google Quickly

Getting your website listed in Google quickly simply requires
that you know what Google is looking for and how to apply that
to your site. Fortunately, what Google is looking for is pretty
easy to understand and use in your marketing plan. Start with
these suggestions as soon as possible so you will increase your
traffic. Consider the following suggestions to get your website
listed with Google, and listed as well and quickly as possible.

Tip #1 – Submit Your URL

After you develop your website, you will want to register with
Google to get your URL in their database. However, the inclusion
of your URL is not promised so you will need to do everything
you can to guarantee this. One such thing is to make sure all
web pages are fully completed. If all web pages are not fully
completed, your URL might not be picked up by Google robots
crawling the web, and certainly not the unfinished pages. Also,
only submit your URL once as per the guideless set forth by
Google.

Tip #2 Keywords

Keywords are another thing you should use when writing content
for your website. The reason for this is Google relies on
keywords to rank web pages. When you research important keywords
for your market and use them in titles, in the beginning of
paragraphs, and throughout your content, Google will be able to
return your site as a result when people search for these
particular keywords. Make sure you know how to use keywords
properly and the words that directly apply to your market
because if you use keywords in the wrong way they can actually
hurt your rankings.

Tip #3 Links

Another very important consideration for a high rating in the
Google search engine is links… links to your website from
other websites. However, you can do this relatively easily by
simply communicating with other quality websites and asking them
to link to you. You can also link back to them. This is a very
popular practice. Also, there are reciprocal linking software
programs you can use to help you increase and manage your links.
It is recommended that you go the personal route with the more
important links you are interested in to ensure the link
reciprocation process occurs.

There are many things you can do to optimize your site for
Google’s search engine, however by following the above tips you
will get your site ready for Google searches fast and with
little effort. Make sure you know what you are doing, however,
because if not you might do more harm than good. Once you have a
clear understanding of what you need to do regarding links,
keywords, and registering your URL, you should have no problems

SEO for Google in Five Easy Steps

SEO for Google in Five Easy Steps

Search engine optimization is a comparatively easy process than it seems. There is a misapprehension that it takes hours and loads of hard work. Though that is not true, it can be easy and would take less time if you follow these five SEO Google tips:-

So take an easy step forward to Google SEO with these steps to higher search engine positioning:-

a) Website composition

Make it a point that you have specifically gone through the website composition as it largely affects the location of your website among the rankings of search engine. Rating of the website with any search engine largely depends on the prioritization of the code or rather how a specific code is presented on the webpage. Most websites that are rated higher are basically because there navigation is visible on top of the webpage. Although the tip is not same for every website owner as for you need to be careful that you present the core or the important part of your website first and foremost to let search catch first. So, it is very important to carefully plan the constitution of your website, especially when you are looking for better visual based navigation. Professional help is already available for such a task, however, if you wish to gather some more information on structural methods to get good search engine optimization; you have them here:-

• Designing Without Tables Using CSS

• CSS Zengarden

• DezWozHere

In case you are looking forward website constitution now and would like to prefer table structure, you must have a look at the article on Table structure of Beanstalk’s Mary Davies collection.

b) Content development

Content development and search engine optimization are intricately linked. It concerns your keywords and the content quality. The format of the webpage and the content layout also includes this very aspect of your website. For a good content you must confirm three things to your webpage content.

• Keyword density

• Content format and layout

• Relevance of the site articles for user assistance

The term keyword density refers to the number of repetitions keyword gains in the article content in ratio to the total words on the webpage. Generally, the optimal keyword density waves somewhere in between the range of 3 to 5% and in case you wish to check the where your website keyword density is, you can check out with our following tools:-

* Beanstalk’s Keyword Density & Rank Checking Tool

* Keyword Density.com

* SEO Chat Keyword Density Tool

Content format and layout

Content should be specifically be marked and differentiated with the different font size and style. Bold the headers in the main tags which present the anchor text with italics. In addition to this make sure you also bold the main keyword on the webpage as this will help in catching viewer’s attention, and this is obviously would bring you under the reign of search engine.

Relevance of the site articles for user assistance

The content of the site is basically for your representation and user orientation. Besides that it also acts as a help guide for the user. For example, if you are mortgage firm, it will be easier for you get a good ranking with search engine, if you have the entire content surrounding the mortgage. In short the content should bear relevance to the purpose of the website.

c) Link Building

Link building is easy but calls for attention to some important aspects such as what is the purpose of your site and does it any way relates to the website you have linked yourself to. According to Beanstalk, there are three ways in which one can go for a link building regime. The method you use largely relies on the client and the kind of the website the client owns. You can quickly see a shift in the ranking of your website if you follow these steps.

Reciprocal link building can be used along with directory submission method. Reciprocal link building can be useful, if you have a lot of sites on web related to your industry. Reciprocal link building is actually a tag that ties, for example a broker website with a mortgage website. While, articles writing and submission calls for a team of good writers and editors, forums building will require build a separate space in your website to answer queries and view comments of the users.

d) Inviting links

Inviting links depends on the usage of correct tools, and content also plays a important role in link baiting. Inviting links can be easy if you are regular with publishing articles and blogs. Regular press release and consistent feedbacks can also bring you in the eyes of websites looking for links.

Social networking

Social networking also holds value in web networking as it gives you a personalized search fallout. It is basically forms a community and gives an advance search option. For example, if I log on to a website and find it useful and simultaneously another user who access to same website happens to be my acquaintance than we have a common link to our assistance. However, in case I or the other user logs on to the other website for same assistance, than the information would come to me as well. Bookmarking is another option that can help.

Improve Search Engine Ranking In As Little As Hours With These Shocking Steps

When you are trying to rank your website on a search engine there are steps that you will need to take, to rank your site properly. Speaking now of the specific techniques that will need to be carried out in an ongoing campaign to position on Google.

Bear in mind that these techniques are the basis for a websites position, and it varies each time to get the first spot in Google, to give an opportunity to the other websites that are also trying to rank and not always be the same pages, which are the top, and leave in the search more convenient. It is the principle of democracy that governs the network.

Finding Keywords

Knowing who will lead to establish the keywords that will help someone find you and your company. The more times a certain keyword is searched for each month will determent if that keyword is good to rank your site for. Finding keywords that do not have much competition, but still have enough traffic is what is called “Long Tail Keywords.” These types of keywords are much easier to rank your website in the search engines.

Using long tail keywords will not bring you millions of hits to your website, but it will insure that you get a healthy flow of targeted traffic to your website each day.

There are many free tools online to help determine keywords, all one has to do is a Google search for “Free Keyword Tools” or something along that matter. Picking a tool will be a matter of personnel preference.

Using Long Tail Keywords in Your Website

Distribute the keywords that you identified in the previous step, throughout your website is the key to letting the search engines understand what your pages are about. Also, take into account the designing of your website and use a clean code-designing program, which is what will open the door to ranking first in Google.

Just like in real estate the location on were you will be putting your keywords play an important part in just how Google and the search engines understand your website. You will want to put the long tail keywords in what is called “On Page Factors” spots. These include but are not limited to, the h1 tags, meta keywords, meta description, the first and last 25 words on the page and the keyword density of the entire page. Optimizing your website with these factors will boost your website rankings and put your website first in Google’s indexing eyes. This gives your website great relevance to the search engines.

Ranking your website in the organic web searches will take time. I think one of Google’s mottos are “If it is not done naturally then it’s not going to be done at all” So do not expect to start seeing traffic coming to your site right off the back. But if you keep it up and continually add fresh unique content and maybe through in some web 2.0 tactics. (Topic for another article). There is no reason in the world why you cannot out rank any of the top ranking website.

Eight Steps to Number One on Google

We are all aware the Internet is constantly changing and staying up to date on the latest developments is extremely important if you want your business to do well online.  The fundamentals of search engine optimization don’t change and if you pay attention to these tried and true rules you can be extremely successful online.

The following are eight elements for you to take into consideration whenever you add any new content to your site.  If you address each of these elements your search positioning will consistently improve, as will the quality of visitors coming to your site.  Let’s face it … You don’t just want traffic; you want relevant traffic that is looking to buy.  The following is a list of things you need to focus on so your website will appear at the top of the search results in the most relevant of searches.

Page Title

Your page title is one of the first things the search engine spiders view.  This title tells the search engines what your page is about.  You should NOT simply repeat the keywords over and over in this title.  You should limit this title to 8-10 words and it should make sense to the visitor.  Don’t simply write anything for the spiders.  If you do it will lead to a bad user experience and your visitor won’t return.

URL

The URL that displays in the address bar of your browser should also contain the keyword focus of the page.  The best way to include the keywords is to separate them with hyphens (-).  If you don’t the search engine spiders will view all the words as one big word.  Here is an example of how your URL should look http://www.yourwebsite.com/Your-keyword-phrase .

Meta Data

The meta keywords and meta description are not given as much importance by the search engines as they used to.  You should still take the time to create a meta description which includes your keywords of focus for each individual page.  Make sure this description makes sense and contains at least one use of the keyword phrase you are focusing on.  Also include your keyword phrase in the meta keywords but don’t stuff it in over and over.  Limit your meta keywords to 8-10 keywords.

Headings and Sub Headings

Headings and sub headings are very similar to chapters of a book.  They describe what it is you’ll be reading in the coming pages.  With your website you should use H1 tags with your keyword of focus on the page.  If you have multiple, related keywords of focus for that page, you can use additional H2, H3, and H4 tags as sub headings.  Remember, your visitors will be reading these headings so they need to make sense while still including your keywords.

Text Based Navigation

Search engines cannot read images or flash.  It is best to use text based navigation which includes the keywords you are focusing on for the page that link is leading to.  This will let the search engines know what the page it is linking to is about, and will act as a “vote of confidence” for that keyword.  It will also create an excellent user experience since the visitor will know exactly what they are going to see once they click the link.  Avoid text based navigation that simply says “About us” and change it to “About Your Company.”  There are millions of other companies that are doing it wrong and competing for the phrase “About us.”  It is much easier to win for the phrase “About Your Company.”

Image Alt Text

Search engines cannot read images, but they can read the alternative text in your images. If you add this, the spiders know what your image is.  If you include the keywords you are focusing on as alternative text for your images, you’ll be letting the spiders know what relevance the image has and it will be yet one more instance of proper keyword usage.  Many companies skip this, so if you pay attention, you’ll be further ahead.

Body Copy

When writing the copy for your page it is important to include your keywords in the copy.  Each page of your website should contain between 250 and 600 words and you should include your keyword phrase at least 4-5 times.  If adding it that many times lessens the quality of your copy and you believe it will lessen the value your visitor will give to it.  DON’T do it!  Your objective should be to create an excellent user experience and provide value to your visitor.

Build Links

The phrase from the movie Field of Dreams, “Build it and they will come,” doesn’t apply to the web.  Once you’ve built your website and have paid attention to all of the elements above, you need to generate awareness and gain inbound links.  Search engines look at these inbound links as “votes of confidence” for your site. If those links are coming from relevant sites which have a high page rank, they will be viewed as highly credible “votes” by the search engine algorithms and you will see an increase in your position.

If you use these eight steps as a template to refer to when creating each page on your website, you will find yourself rapidly moving up through the ranks of the search results and the quality of your traffic will soar.  This all leads to much higher conversion rates, and huge increases in your online revenue.

8 Steps To Better Search Engine Rankings

Have you created a web site and submitted it to search engines only to find that no matter what you do, your site still does not feature in the rankings. Are you interested in better search engine rankings? Here are 8 things you can do to improve your rankings and these need to be done before you even submit your site to be indexed.

1. Web site Content:

Web site Content is one of the most important factors that will decide the rankings for you. The site pages should provide valuable information on specific subjects rather than providing directory of all free articles found on the web. When a search engine is used to find information, generic terms are rarely used. Rather search engines are used to find specific terms or phrases that describe the product or service people are searching for. One of the important things that your website should have is the niche keywords sprinkled in to the content thus making your pages more relevant to the search engines.

If niche keywords are located in a web page that is carefully constructed to highlight keywords known to produce traffic, the chances that your site will appear in a search result for a very specific search improves. It’s also important to understand that the search engines cannot be tricked by flooding the engines with multiple versions of the same page, repeating the same term over and over – these tactics will only make sure your web site stays out of search engines reach.

2. Link / Web site popularity:

This is one of the most important factors that you should consider for achieving good rankings. Most of the search engines today treat link popularity as one of the factors that determine your ranks in the search engine results. The number of websites that link to your website determine your relevancy for a search term. The link popularity or the incoming links does not necessarily mean that you should be submitting your web site all possible FFA link sites / directories or even classified ad directories.

The best way to get links to your web site would be to type in the search terms that you are targeting in your favorite search engines. You should visit the sites returned by your search engine and look carefully for adding links or exchanging links. Most of the web sites today provide an link exchange option. using Google toolbar to see the page rank for these web sites will be helpful since exchanging links with web sites with Page Rank 5 and above is definitely going to improve your chances of getting your site indexed.

The next important things that should be considered when optimizing your web site are the Off-page and the on-page elements. some of the on page elements are Title Tag, META Tags, Heading, ALT Tag and highlighting of the text using BOLD tag. The Link tag i.e. the A Tag is considered as an important off page element.

3. Meta Tags:

Meta-Tags are the HTML tags that will be used to describe the web page. You need to put the important keywords for your web page as well as the brief description of your web page in these tags. Though these tags are not directly visible to the users, they serve an important purpose of guiding the search engines through your page. Although the importance of META TAGS has reduced significantly today, they still help the search engines to decide on the relevancy of your page with the search keyword.

The META Keywords should contain important keywords and phrases you are targeting for your web site. They should be consistent with the HTML Body Text and Page Title. You must make sure you are not stuffing the META tag with keywords which would annoy the search engines. Ideally the META keyword tag should contain 100-150 characters. Being specific and accurate is the mantra to success with keywords.

The META Description tag will contain a brief description about your web site, services provided by you. The description you put in the META description tag should be relevant to the content on the page where this tag is located. i.e. You should not be talking about your product in these tags when the page contains some article on unrelated topic. The description you provide for your page has to convince the person that you are providing exactly what want. How would you feel to visit a page with stuffed keywords but no relevancy to the content.

4. TITLE Tags:

Ideally the title tags should contain 50-80 characters with your important keywords embedded in them and more importantly should be relevant to the content in the page. if multiple keywords are to be used in the Title tags they can be separated using a | (Pipe), though it must be seen that keywords are not stuffed in the Title Tag. Moreover the keywords in the title tags should be readable and should describe the content of the page.

5. Heading Tags:

The Heading tags are given more weightage than the ordinary text. The higher the H tag the more weightage it carries. You need to make use of the Heading tags to highlight the important keywords in the paragraph headers. These keywords should be used to describe the contents of the paragraphs on your page. this will ensure that you are not stuffing the page with keywords but they are a part of the flow on the page.

6. Bold text

The important keywords in your page should be put in the bold tags. Normally the bold text has more weightage than ordinary text. Even Though the bold tags are considered to be less important than the Heading tags, they are still important to be ignored. Make sure to enclose the search term in bold tags when it appears on the page.

7.Alt text

The Alt tags are normally used by the browsers if they are unable to load the images. Some of the users might have disabled downloading graphics on their browsers, or if the images are too heavy to download for the users internet connection. Having your important keywords to describe the images will help you get the important keywords on the page, As much as possible try to include the search term in the alt text of all images on the page. Beware, naming all your images like spacers, irrelevant images with the keywords might be a shortcut to get yourself banned with the search engines.

8. Off-page elements:

Link text – This is considered as an important factor in good rankings. The link text might have been placed on your own sites or other web sites linking your site. Either way, it is important. Ideally the link text should contain an important keyword describing the target page. Make sure you do not use identical link text for every link. The text links will have even more weightage if the text around them is related with the target page’s topic and search keywords.

If the website is optimized for the above points, it definitely will help you get a better search engine rankings.

Want a Better Search Engine Ranking? Try These Easy Steps

Having a hard time ranking in Google? Why not try optimizing for Yahoo? After all, Yahoo commands over 22% of the search market – and 22% of billions of users is quite a lot!

Because Yahoo’s algorithms are a few years behind Google’s, it is often easier to get a decent page ranking in Yahoo. And fortunately, many of the factors that give weight to your Yahoo ranking are not even considered by Google, so you won’t have to worry about Google penalizing you for keyword stuffing.

Follow these simple tips and your pages will soon be well optimized for a great Yahoo ranking:

1. Your title tag should contain your keyword phrase and should be 5-7 words long. You should also limit your title tag to no more than 70 characters.

2. Your description tag should contain your keyword phrase at the very beginning and contain a 13-20 word complete sentence clearly describing your site. Your description tag should be no more than 180 characters and should blend your keywords with your marketing message.

3. Your keywords tag should have your main keyword phrase at the very beginning, be no more than 250 characters long. You should also have no more than three repetitions of a single keyword.

4. Your url (filename) should contain your keyword phrase as closely as possible.

5. Your heading 1 tag should contain your keyword phrase as close to the beginning as possible. Only one heading 1 should be used per page. Heading 2 tags should also contain your keyword phrase as close to the beginning of the headline as possible.

6. All images should include alt tags and, if at all possible, the alt text should contain your keyword or keyword phrase. (But be careful not to sacrifice accessibility in favor of keyword stuffing.) All images should be optimized to decrease page load time and encourage spider crawling.

7. Your inline links should include your keyword phrases as part of your linked text and should refer to pages that are also optimized for the same keyword. When linking to pages within your own web site, use the full url web address instead of relative web links.

8. You should build up multiple (as many as possible) one way links from relevant pages optimized for the same keyword. When ever possible, encourage your linking partners to use your keyword phrases as their link text.

9. Be sure to publish an XML sitemap and a Robots.txt file. Keep your sitemap updated on a regular basis, especially as new pages or new posts are added.

How To Increase Your Google Rank In 5 Simple Steps

Throughout this article im going to use some terminology you may not be familiar with.

Inbound link – Theses are one way links coming into your website

Outbound link – Theres are one way links that are leaving your website

Cross Links – These are link exchanges, eg you link to site A and site A links back to you

Page Rank or PR – This is on a scale of 1-10 and is how Google measures how important your website is

SEO or Search engine optimization is key to driving traffic to your website from search engines. People often wonder how to get those coveted 1-10 ranks for your keywords, but struggle in doing so. The first and most important step in obtaining those rankings is to target specific key phrases. Its better to target a specific phrase than an individual word, as competition for the individual words is very high and usually dominated by massive businesses.

1) Check out your competitors

For example, lets assume your business sells computers. It would be an impossible task to optimize your site for the keyword “computer” or “computers”. If you do a Google search for ‘computer’ you will see there are 1,330,000,000 results and the top ranking sites include apple and dell to name a few. You will never get into that top 10 list, there is simply to much competition.

2) So, what do I do?

Have a look at your website and ask yourself what do you sell? Is it computers specifically built to play games? If so you should try “custom gaming pcs”. This search term returns 413,000 results much easier to beat than the previous 1,330,000,000 results and the number 1 spot only has 53 inbound links. This should be fairly easy to beat and take their precious number 1 spot.

Before we start looking at how to build links, you need to make sure that your website has being optimized for your chosen keywords. I recommend a piece of software called seo elite that can be purcahsed from seoelitedirect (google it).

3) Checking out competitors inbound links

If you havent purchased SEO Elite which has this superb feature built in. I will show you how to check out your competitors links, the long way.

install the Google toolbar on your browser. Type your keyword into the search (in this example ‘custom gaming pcs’) and then click on options then more tab and tick the page info box. Simply click on the blue circle icon with an I in it and then choose ‘Backwards links’. This will show you a sample of the incoming links a page has, as you can see the #1 spot has 53 inbound links.

4) Make friends with other websites

Look at each inbound link the #1 spot has, see if each page is relevant to your website, it probably is! Browse around the site and find a way to contact the webmaster, there is usually an email address somewhere. Simply contact the webmaster and ask if they would like to trade links with you. Take not of the green bar on Google tool bar, this tells you the Page rank of the page. Links from sites with higher PR are better than links from sites with low PR.

Do this for every site that is linking to the number 1 site for your keyword. Then do it for spot number 2, number 3, number 4 and so on. Some webmasters will just ignore your email, dont get disheartened, there are plenty more links out there waiting for you! If a webmaster refuses to trade links, thank him gracefully.

5) Results

After doing the above for a couple of weeks, Google will re-index their rankings and you will jump up the search rankings. It can take a few months for your page rank to be updated though so dont worry about that. The more links you build, the higher you will rank. The more you put in the more you get out of it.

I strongly suggest you invest in some SEO software. Personally I swear by SEO elite (there are others out there, IBP for example) and it gives you a serious edge over your competition, perfectly optimizing your website for your chosen keywords! Not to mention the amount of time it will save

1.) Google Suggest is a great free tool which you can find for free doing a Google search. You simply start typing in a keyword and it will automatically start suggesting some great key terms of your choice. This tool can help get your juices flowing and give you some great keyword phrase ideas.

2.) Use SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool which is a free tool you can find on Google. You type in your seed keyword and it will return the most popular searched keyword phrases back along with how many times it’s being searched. You want to find a few keyword phrases that drive traffic using this tool. If the keyword phrase you want isn’t producing any traffic then don’t waste your time any further. Find some keyword phrases getting some great results, this is the key.

3.) Now that you have a few keyword phrases go to Google and type in the keyword phrase in the search bar. This will show you how many competing websites there are out there. Next put quotation marks around your keyword phrase like this “keyword phrase” and Google will return the number of optimized results, this is the real number we’re looking for, record that number. Repeat this to all your keyword phrases and select the keyword phrase which has the least optimized competition on Google with the highest traffic and do the math. A formula for this is to take the optimized results and divide that by the number of searches. This will give you the R/S value, the lower the number the better the keyword phrase. Select the keyword phrase with the smallest number.

4.) Another great free tool you can find on Google is Google Adwords Keyword tool . You can type in your keyword phrase and it will return the advertiser competition along it’s search volume. You can even see the estimated average cost per click competing advertisers are competing for. If you see advertisers paying big bucks for the cost per click that’s a sign that there is money to be made with that keyword phrase. Use this tool wisely.

5.) Next go to Google and type in your selected keyword phrase and study all 10 of your competition on the front page. Start by looking at each websites PR(Google Page Rank). If your using internet explorer make sure you have Google’s toolbar as on it they have a feature which shows you the Page Rank of any website. If you have competition with PR’s of 7 or above I don’t recommend competing for that keyword phrase as it will be very difficult to beat them for that spot. The lower the PR the better chance you have of taking their position.

Any good marketer can tell you that the most important part of any campaign is doing solid keyword research. Without it you won’t have any results no matter how much time you put into your campaign. Using the simple 5 steps above will allow you to completely dominate your competition on Google and provide you with the foresight to see great success in your campaign by having a solid foundation built underneath you.
