Essentially this equates to more web traffic for your website and if you are running an online business, more web traffic ultimately means more profit for you.

Making Google PageRank Improvements

If you are looking to improve your Google PageRank you can do so by starting a link campaign. A link campaign can help you increase more inbound links to your website and in turn, more inbound links will increase your Google PageRank. How do you start a link campaign? Well, you can go the hard route by scouring the Internet to find websites similar to your own. Or, you can make your link campaign a far easier process by using the services afforded to you by PageRank Browser and locate all of the best, themed websites on the Internet with relative ease.

Of course, there are few things you must bear in mind when you begin your link campaign. Google actually rates various links and holds some links higher than others. In other words, if you link to 100 less than popular sites you may increase your Google PageRank. Conversely, if you link to 50 extremely popular sites and you get inbound links in return, you may significantly increase your Google PageRank because the most popular sites on the Internet are linking directly too you. Thus, when you begin your link campaign, keep this popularity issue in the back of your mind. Further, know that in using PageRank Browser, you will be able to locate the popular sites with ease, and thereby significantly increase your Google PageRank.

About Inbound Links

Quite frankly, some links that you will establish will be better than others. You goal will be to establish the best links possible by examining the quality of inbound links. Various webmaster tools can help you determine the quality of the reciprocal links you establish. You will want to work hard at establishing direct inbound links to your site-direct links from already popular websites. You will also need to establish links to websites that are similar to yours-remember the search engine algorithm used by Google to determine your page rank is based on relevance. You will also find that the location of inbound links is of significant importance. For example, when you establish inbound links, those links that are buried deep within a website will have less influence on the ranking of your website in Google’s search engine.

What is clear is that your Google PageRank is of significant importance. Thus, every effort should be used to improve your Google PageRank-with the use of webmaster tools and the use of sites like PageRank Browser you should have little difficulty getting your PageRank right where it should be. Therefore, you will not only improve your PageRank you will improve the web traffic you receive by leaps and bounds. Moreover, your improved PageRank will make you a force on the Internet to be reckoned with-you will have a highly recognizable website for all your efforts and you will ultimately improve your online business’ bottom line.

Google SEO and PageRank – All Links Aren’t Created Equal

Google SEO and PageRank – All Links Aren’t Created Equal

With Google’s increased popularity and gain in Organic Search market share, it is increasingly more important for web site owners to become better familiarized with the way Google works and how they gauge certain elements to determine a website’s ranking. In the initial Google PageRank patent submission, there was a heavy emphasis on links; this has since changed drastically from the initial PageRank algorithm. Many expert Google SEO professionals have concluded that it no longer is useful to create links to a site, if that link doesn’t have a title related to the destination site. Let us explain further.

Initially, the web was a web of links tying everything together. With this quickly came Black Hat SEO practices that took advantage of certain sites and their easily fooled submission pages to create mass link campaigns that created duplicate links on different web sites. Initially a web site gauged by the original Google PageRank algorithm, would have ranked a page very highly.

It is estimated that Google now calculates the following about every link back to a site:

1. Originating website topic – refers to a link that for example, links to your site about computers, but originates on a completely unrelated website whose topic is about cooking.

2. Originating website link title content – refers to the general topic of the originating site in relationship to the site where the link is pointing. Again, keeping links to your site, in similar topic sites is very important.

3. Originating website ranking – the originating PageRank must be higher that the receiving website in order to maximize the value of the link.

4. Originating website status – refers to whether or not the site were the link originates has been tagged as black-hat or otherwise penalized for pursuing non-standard methods by Google.

If you create lots of links from bad sites to your web site, it will actually cause a devaluation of your website rankings. Do NOT be fooled by companies who claim to provide high PR links for pennies, the truth is, that by everyone’s estimation in the SEO arena, Google has already or is building a provision in their PageRank to account for this type of practices.

Keep your links clean, from clean sources, and you will get great results.

This guide should give you a good starting point to help with your Google SEO efforts. Keep an eye of the next guide, which will help expand on the topic of Search Engine Optimization.

How long for Google PageRank?

How long for Google PageRank?

When it comes to pagerank most webdesigners and seo specialist claim to be pagerank specialists. We actually only know very little about how google calculates the pagerank assigned to your site. It is commonly known that google ranks keyword searches based on several things. One of which is pagerank. Basically if google ranks your site higher than others it can appear higher in targeted keyword searches. Ultimately driving more traffic to your website. Google gives several tips on how to increase your pagerank.

The first is obviously content, google claims keep quality content posted on your site and your pagerank will increase naturally. The best way to do this is pick a topic you know a decent amount about (or a topic relevent to your website) and keep new content up regularly.

Another tip google offers is to follow the design guidelines listed in the google webmaster central blog. Following these rules can allow google to know your site is a quality site and not a mass produced spam site.

Google does not deny the importance of one way links and external links. Google assigns a rank to all sites on the internet and the higher rank of sites linking to your site will increase your pagerank. It is also important that you keep the number of external links relatively low because those can reduce your pagerank.

So how long does it take google? Google releases no information on how often the page ranks are updated. However it is estimated that they do this every 80 – 140 days. Don’t be impatient just follow these guidelines and you’ll have high pr sooner than later.

The Secret of Google Pagerank

If you have a new website and you want people to visit it, then you are probably going to be interested in learning about PageRank. So what is Google PageRank, and why does it matter? Well pretty much, PageRank is what the search site Google uses to determine the quality and popularity of a webpage. Thus, it really is choosing if the site will appear at the top of the search engines results. So if you want your site to come up in search results, then you should care about what PageRank things about your site!

When PageRank first came out, it usually ranked the sites with the highest keyword density at first.

During that period someone with basic seo skills was able to get a website in the top 10 results without to much hassle. People were using that weakness to rank their sites higher. Now that time is over and in order to get in the top 10 results on google you have to work harder and build a lot of back links to keep your head out of the water and generate some google organic traffic from google.

So how does Google PageRank rank your website now? Well, in theory, Google thinks that if a page has a lot of links leading to it, then it must be a pretty important site. Thus, if you have a lot of links out there on other sites leading back to your website, it is going to do wonders for your search engine ranking. In fact, you can think of a link on another site kind of like a vote for your site. So, say website A has a link to website B; then it would be like website A was voting for website B! Of course, it does not just stop there. Sites that have a higher ranking have more weight when voting. Thus, if you are linked to a lot of small, low ranked sites and then another site is just linked to one high ranked site, they could be ranked above you.

Of course, with any system there are flaws. People tend to post their links anywhere to try and get their ranking up. In fact, if you have ever come across a web page that has nothing except a ton of links on it, then you just uncovered a link farm. This is a site that is made to not be found by people. The only things that usually find this page are the Google Crawlers. Thus, they find the links and count it as a vote for another site. However getting your link on a link farm does not count as a positive vote for your web site. Keep in mind that all links are not created equal! Link farms are considered spamming by Google so try to stay away from link farms. In fact, getting your links to several link farms websites may get you banned from some search engines and especially Google.

What is a Google PageRank?

Author admin    Category Google     Tags ,

Everybody uses a Google PageRank, though no one really knows its actual function. A Google PageRank is a numerical system located on the Google toolbar which ranks the importance of a web page based on a scale of 1 to ten. There are three broad categories, 1-3 are new sites with minimal links, 4-5 are preferred sites with a fair amount of links and 6-10 are very popular sites with high quantity of quality links. It is probably one of the most vital algorithms ever developed for the Web so helping keep our searches clean and efficient. Finally a PageRank depends on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by trying its massive link structure as an indication of an individual page’s web price.

There are a number of factors that impact a Page Rank, one of them being the importance of each inbound links overall total. A link to a page is a vote to that particular page, the higher a PageRank the more critical it is. Adding a new page can decrease the PageRank, while the total PageRank in the site is increased; one or more of the exiting pages will suffer PageRank loss because of the new pages making gains.

Some crucial factors that may increase PageRank are links from and to top quality related websites or backlinks form important internet sites. The more closely related a page is to a high quality site, the higher the PageRank amount transferred and if pages lining to you have high page ranks, your page gains from their reputation. Google PageRanks are helpful indicators of an internet sites quality and renown.

How to Increase Google Pagerank – Part 1/2

Google PageRank has become one of the most important measurements when users are checking a sites authority on the web. To increase google pagerank, you must first understand how Google assigns page rank to each site. Increasing your Google PageRank will not happen overnight. It requires a lot of time and effort. So lets dig in and find out how you can increase Google PageRank for your site.

Quick Overview

Before I get into explaining how you can increase Google PageRank for your web site, let me first explain what Google PageRank is. PageRank is a tool (Ranking) system that was developed by Google to rate each site. Ratings of 0-10 is assigned to each website by Google using a very complex algorithm. 0 being the lowest ranking, and 10 being the highest. (e.g. Google.com has a PageRank of 10). You will also come across sites that have “Un-Assigned” Google PageRanking. This means that either the site has just been established and not indexed by google, or that the site has banned by Google.

The Algorithm used to assign PageRank are very complex and can not be cracked, however most experts do agree that Google PageRank uses back links as a major variable in the complex algorithm used to assign PageRank to a web site. Keep this in mind, because this is very important.

Back Links

As I mentioned, Backlinks plays a major factor when Google is assigning a PageRank for a site. A back link is when a web site uses “a href” to link back to your site.

So for example, you have a blog that talks about new hard drives on the market (harddriverus. com). Your friend has a blog on new web cams. Your friend mentions new hard drives ask his readers to check out harddriverus.com and puts a link in his posts. Congratulations, you just got a external backlink. ( Internal backlinks are just as important as external backlinks, however external backlinks weight more in Google’s algorithm than internal links. This doesn’t mean it’s not important to establish some internal links for your web site.)

Page Rank is almost like a voting system. Every time another website gives you a back link, Google counts that as a vote. The More back links you get, the more votes Google counts towards your site. Now, it does get a little bit more complicated. Not all votes are made equal. Some votes have more weight than others. We will get into that shortly.

So, a quick re-cap, Page Rank algorithm is complicated, however experts are in agreement that Back Links plays a major role is the assignment of PageRank for each web site. Back Links is described as a voting system. The more back links you receive, the more votes are counted for you by Google.

In the second part of “How to increase Google PageRank” I am going to talk about how Google Weighs each vote, and how you can take advantage of that, and how you can increase Google PageRank for your website.

A Few Things of Google PageRank

Many Bloggers try hard to reach a high PageRank by a high PageRank there will be a lot of benefit to the site / blog, one of other benefit is that it brings some money to your website and can make your efforts valuable. But it is not easy to get a high PageRank, google implements logarithmic scale from one level of PageRank to the next level. Talking about PageRank, emphasizing to links structure than content, to improve PageRank we have to understand what is the PageRank and links among pages that can influence the PageRank.

Understanding The Google PageRank

PageRank is a method that used by google to measure the importance of page on the web. The PageRank is different with rank system to sort relevan web to query but PageRank combined with rank system and text-matching techniques used by google to retrieve pages that relevant to the user query.

PageRank considers the links among pages, if the web www.enginecarts.com has been linked from www.ponbiss.com,  google will consider a link from ponbiss as a “vote” to enginecarts, vote from one page to another giving certain amount to another is a little less than its own PageRank value (its own value * 0.85). This value is shared equally between all the pages that it links to,  number 0,85 is a damping factor is used in google system.

Let’s take a look at the PageRank formula, that calculates a PageRank of page

PR(A) = (1- d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + …+PR(tn)/C(tn)
PR(A) is a PageRank of page
PR(t1) is a PageRank of page t1 that link to page A
C(t1) is the total of outbound links that had by (t1)

Imagine if enginecarts was linked by ponbiss that would have PR4 and 9 other outbound links, so based on the formula, the result of calculation is :

PR (enginecarts) =(1-0.85)+0.85*(4/10)
PR (enginecarts)=0.15+0.85*(0.4)
PR(enginecarts)=0.15+0.34
PR(enginecarts)=0.49

So enginecart will get some PR addition  0.49 after linked by a page with PR4 and having 9 outbound links  Another example if enginecarts was linked by ponbiss that would have PR 8, that would have 15 outbound links, so the total is 16 outbound links.  So addition that enginecart would get is :

PR (enginecarts) =(1-0.85)+0.85*(8/16)

PR (enginecarts)=0.15+0.85*(0.5)

PR(enginecarts)=0.15+0.425

PR(enginecarts)=0.575

We can get a conclusion as important consideration not only PageRank of ww.ponbiss.com but also amount of outbound links of www.ponbiss.com

Inbound Link

Inbound link is a hyperlink that points to a your site’s page from another site’s page. When visitors click on this particular link, he will be redirected to site’s page. In turn is beneficial to increase website traffic. The more inbound links your website has the more often the search engine robots will visit your website as well as more it will appear in search engine results.

In the google PageRank system an inbound link is considered as a vote from another page,  a vote gives certain value that can increase linked PageRank. The value that shares another

page is depending on quality of inbound link, PageRank and amount of outbound links on that page. The more outbound links on a page will give the less its PageRank. In many cases having an inbound link from PR 6 page will give significant effect to our PR. But if in fact the page has 100 outbound links to other sites, PR increase will be almost zero.

Also If a page has only PR 2, but there is only an outbound link, then PR increase will be more compared page with 100 outbound links and PR 6.

Google doesn’t only count incoming-links that had by page. Google looks at more than voting the page only, but google also analyzes the page that get vote. Vote got by page of course considered important and can help another page becoming important.

Outbound Link

The reason of bloggers to put outbound links basically beside making reference about relevance of certain contents, braiding a friendship to bloggers and hoping to get some backlinks.

But It needs to be noticed is how to optimize the outbound links in order that having good effect and more beneficial

The following some Tips to optimize the quality outbound links in order to good effect and more beneficial :

Give a quality outbound link on the posting

A blogger gives an outbound link one other thing to help a popularity other sites or blogs. But remember this influences to your reputation if the blogs have bad contents.

Give an outbound link to a new blog

Most bloggers give the outbound links only to senior blogs, but it is not wrong if you give a link to beginner or your fans. So they likely will give backlink to your blog without asking to exchange links. This is a part of marketing strategy to start building an online business network.

Giving some love links to your friends.

There is no more good way to strengthen a friendship string to bloggers moreover friend that you have known long, by giving some outbound links is real act to recognize that he is your friend

Reply an inbound link to a blog

Giving backlink to a blog that links to your blog particularly if one network , by condition that link is really relevant with your content

The outbound link as adding information

This means in order that blog visitors getting more a reference and adding information from the one of your more specific article

Strengthen the posting by outbound link

Giving an outbound link to reputable web site, for example to wikipedia.org. if it is relevant this will give good effect to your posting and give more value on your article in search engine eyes.

Adding Some New Pages

Adding some new pages can influence PageRank. If we take a look at the site, It has some inbound links from other sites. Each page of the site has its own page rank. When a page is added to the site, and the page will be linked to from one or more other pages. The new page will get the PageRank from other pages, and other pages on the site will lose its own PageRank. While total PageRank will increase. The more new pages added the greater page rank loss among existing pages.

Distribution of PageRank loss from each page depends on structure of the links. The more uniform PageRank is distributed by the links within a site, the more even page rank loss among pages.

Adding a new page can increase the total of PageRank but it will reduce existing page’s Page Rank on the site. Better way is increasing some inbound links from other sites to balance effect of adding page. Another way is linking to the new pages such a way within the site that the important pages don’t suffer.

Improve Your Google Pagerank – SEO Tips and Affordable, Budget Hosting Plans and Services – the Hosting Hole

If you can improve your Google PageRank then you will have a sure-fire way of improving your listing position. Google states very clearly that their PageRank and your link density is a very important part of how they decide your listing position for any keyword.

There are steps you can take to improve that and use an approximation to the Google PageRank formula to calculate how successful you are being. However, no one really knows what is required to get from one page rank figure to the next. If it takes 10 linking points to get a page rank at all, it will likely take a lot more to get from 1 to 2. It might take hundreds of thousands to get from 5 to 6, but many sites seem to get to page rank 3 and then stop.

Page rank is a measurement of the relative number of links to your webpage and the importance of the sites making these links, compared to the number of links leaving your web page. Page rank is what it says. It is a ranking of your web pages, not your whole website. This is particularly useful since it lists individual pages on your website, not the whole website. Check the current PageRank of your site / URL here.

These links need not be from outside sources, since internal page linking also counts. If one of your pages is linked to your home page, your home page gets a share of that page’s rank. The share decreases for each other page that the page in question is linked to. Each page in your website starts off with a page rank of 1. That then increases or reduces according to your internal linking strategy, and it is possible to design that strategy to provide as much PR as possible to one or more pages in your website.

Once you have optimized your internal links, you should then try to achieve as many links back to your website as possible from other websites. Keep in mind that you should try to get other web pages to link to specific pages on your site, that you have chosen either for their relevance to the keyword in question, or because that is the page that you want to get listed highest in Google.

Also keep in mind that websites with a very good page rank on their home page might be providing you with a link from a page deep in their site that has a very low PR, or even zero. A links page, for example, with only one link to the page but a hundred out will provide with next to no benefit. If the link is reciprocated, you could be giving that website more page rank points than you are getting back.

Another very important note. Make positively sure your hosting provider is consistent and reliable. Nobody exactly know how often Google updates PageRank but records show that PageRank updates 4-5 times a year on average. DO NOT take a chance of your website being down during the PageRank update. You must ensure that you have quality, reliable web hosting from an industry leader. So how do you choose a hosting provider when there are thousands of hosting companies available online? These tips will steer you in the right direction.

Google Pagerank Drop it Now

Author admin    Category Google     Tags , ,

For those how want an introduction to what Pagerank is.

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Many are many aspects to consider when trying to get a higher pagerank, just to mention some of them, links to your website from others, onpage optimization, for how long your website has been online etc. its a fulltime job just trying to keep up with the adjustments made by google.

Many people sees google pagerank as a measurement tool for viewing the importance of a specific website, even other webmasters trust pagerank to be correct, but it can’t be further from the truth. Google page rank has in the last year + more been very unstable, I have seen website going from a pagerank of 1 to 5 within a month, and some sites going from 8 to 2, even newly added website having quite high pageranks, without even having any traffic to their sites.

So why are people still using this pagerank as a trusted tool. well its quite simple, people still reads all the old articles on the internet saying, what a wonderfull tool it is, and people just got stuck in the old rutine, well get out of it and try to do some reasonable analysis on webpages.

Note:Other people tend to use a website called alexa to see the importance of a website, this website is actually quite effectiv, or it was, now I see alot of website get highly ranked there to, because they once or twice have bought some cheap traffic and then alexa has rated them based on their visiors amount.

Conclusion.

So if your using eighter google pagerank or alexa to analyze websites, do it with caution, be carefull not to only use these tools, be creative instead try other ways, you may even discover new alternatives others have never thought of. For example try to see what are the most used keywords for a speciffic subject, then see what website is shown first in both google, yahoo, msn and more.
