What You Need To Get Listed On Google
What You Need To Get Listed On Google
Here is what you need to get listed on google. There are actually a lot of things that you will need but I won’t go into every single thing because we may not have enough time. But what I will do is point out some of the most important things that you will need to get listed on google.
The first thing you are going to need is a good keyword or search term. The reason for this is you need a keyword that your potential buyer is going to use to find what it is you are selling. You will want it to be along tail keyword also. Long tail means a keyword with 3 to 4 words in that phrase like “dog training for German Sheppard”. That’s a long tail keyword and it is very targeted. When you use long tail keywords you can get more targeted visitor to your site and they usually have lower competing site.
The next thing you need to get listed on google is you need an optimized website. All that means is that the site needs to have the keyword that you are targeting in the title tag of the website and it also needs the keyword to show up in the H1 tag of the website. If you don’t know what that means you can look it up by doing a google search or you can create your website using a wordpress blog and all of this will be taken care of for you.
Another important thing that you will need is backlinks. Backlinks are links that will point to your site from other sites. They are crucial when it comes to getting listed on google and the reason is, Google only wants to list websites that they feel are relevant to the search terms that are typed in. If you have a lot of backlinks pointing to your site then in googles eyes, your site is very relevant and it will get list. You can create backlinks your self or you can buy them. The easiest way to create backlinks though is to write articles and then submit them to article directories.
Once you have all of these pieces in place it should be easy to get listed on google. It sometimes takes a little work for you to get it done but once you start it’s like a snow ball affect and you’ll start see more traffic from being listed.

Everything You Need to Know About Getting Past Google’s Rules
As you try to make money online and draw more traffic to your Web site, you’ve learned that the main thing you need to do is to get your pages listed in the first page or two of search results on the major search engines, including Google. You have also found that Google leads the way, and the other major search engines quickly follow, in staying ahead of all the “tricks” that Web marketers come up with in order to boost your Web site’s position in the search engine list, coming up with one rule after another to work against the latest Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques. Still, there are many self-proclaimed experts selling one system or another to help you beat Google at this game.
So, here is everything you need to know about getting around Google’s restrictions:
Don’t!
That’s all you need to know. Really! If you’re looking for ways to beat the system – If you think Google is “the enemy” that you need to get past on the road to success – you can stop reading now.
Still reading? Good! Let me show you why you need learn to work with Google and the other search engines, rather than against them.
Prepare to reset your thinking.
(Please bear in mind for the rest of this article that “Google” really represents all search engines. Google has the largest impact on us Web marketers, because they account for most of the Web searches on the entire Internet and, not coincidentally, the strictest rules about what it takes for a Web site to be listed high on their search results. But pretty much the same rules that apply to Google will apply, sooner or later, to all the major search engines.)
Despite what you may have inferred from some shady operators purporting to provide search engine optimization services, Google is not trying to keep you from succeeding. Google is not trying to impose their own sense of what the Web should be.
Google is not the enemy.
Google is trying to present users with a list of Web sites that are actually relevant to what the user is looking for.
You want the users who end up looking at your site to be happy they found it, don’t you? You don’t want them to see your site and immediately click the “back” button because your site was not what they were looking for, do you?
If you really could apply all the tricks to get your Web site in the top of the search engine listings – even when it doesn’t deserve to be there – you will simply end up attracting all the wrong visitors. You might get more visitors than you would otherwise, but you will not get more sales. Most of your visitors will simply leave your Web site as soon as they see that it is not what they were looking for.
And even if a very few of them might have been interested in what you have to sell, even if it was not what they were looking for at the moment, they won’t buy it from you now, because you’ve made them angry. You’ve tricked them with your deceptive search engine optimization methods.
Maybe you can use a blast of pop-ups to catch the visitors who try to leave your site. Think that will soothe their anger?
I hope it is becoming obvious to you now: Those who promote deceptive techniques to get around the search engines’ rules are the enemy.
Take another look at what Google is trying to do with their rules and guidelines. They are trying to make sure that the visitors who find your site are actually happy to find it.
Google is your friend!
Rather than try to get one past Google, you should be studying what Google tells you they are looking for in a Web site. That is the way to get your site to the top of the results list for the keywords your users are searching for.
Read the information in Creating a Google-friendly site. This is more than just a gold mine, this is a stack of gold bricks sitting on the street corner with a sign saying “take as many as you want!”
So don’t pay to get around Google. That’s just paying to bring the wrong visitors to your site, and making them angry while you’re at it. Take what Google offers you for free, and let Google and the other search engines work for you to bring in the targeted traffic you actually want.
Why You Need to Optimize Your SEO Content for More Than Just Google
Why You Need to Optimize Your SEO Content for More Than Just Google
If you simply optimize your website SEO for Google, you could be missing out on a huge untapped number of potential visitors to your website. Although it’s true that Google is the leading search engine and accounts for over 70% of all search-related traffic, that doesn’t mean that you should start and end your website SEO at Google.
While there’s no denying the results and traffic that a professionally SEO-enhanced website will bring you, and that Google plays a large part of that, take the time to think about these figures. Sure, Google accounts for 70% of all search engine traffic – yet that leaves 30% unacounted for.
According to the latest figures from Internet World Stats, there are currently 1,458,632,361 Internet users around the world today. An incredible figure, and one that’s growing all the time. Now, take Google out of the equation and you’re left with 437,589,703 users – almost half a billion! Let’s say that only 20% of these users are business browsers – that’s still an incredible 87.5 million users.
Can your business afford to miss out on these web users simply because you’re concentrating on optimizing your website for Google? If you’re like the vast majority of businesses who can’t afford to miss out on this untapped goldmine, there are ways that you can ensure you have the best possible chance of capturing that untapped audience:
Use an expert content provider in SEO that can write for the different search engines
Purchase international domain names for your website – the Asian market in particular is about to explode and the international URL’s will help you in this market and others
Depending on the size of your company, set up localized blogs. Outsource writers if you need to – the extra cost will be worth it
Understand how the different search engines rank content and tailor different pages on your website for different search engines
Losing business through tougher trading or economical reasons is bad enough – losing business through easy-to-remedy optimization of your website’s content is worse. Making sure your SEO is truly search engine friendly is achievable and the best starting point is providing SEO content that is friends with more than just Google.
Search Engine Optimization-what is the Need for Search Engine Ranking?
Search Engine Optimization-what is the Need for Search Engine Ranking?
Ever since the Internet was launched commercially in 1988, the World Wide Web has been inundated with billions of websites being launched. A majority of Internet users rely on Google, the worlds foremost Search Engine, when looking for information, products, research, etc. Google lists the sites in Search Engine Results Page (SERPs) according to the keyword/phrase that the user enters in the search box. The listings in the SERPs are from websites listed in the Google database. Google does not list the sites arbitrarily, and there is a method to this madness of Search Engine Ranking. Ranking for a website in SERPs is achieved with proper Search Engine Optimization. It does not help a business if the website is listed on the nth page of SERPs as searchers normally find what they are looking for in the first three pages of listing, or abandon the search after a few pages. Therefore it is essential for a website and business to be ranked and listed in the first three pages for keywords/phrases related to their websites and which searchers use.
Every website owner dearly wants their site listed on the first page of Google Search results and even aspires to be number one in the SERPs for particular keywords/phrases that are searched, or presume to be searched by users. But it is not possible for every one of the millions of sites that are listed in Search Engine results for a keyword/phrase to be listed on the first page or for every site to be number one. It is possible, however, to optimize a website according to Search Engine Optimization guidelines, principles, and Google guidelines, and achieve Search Engine Ranking for a website for particular keywords/phrases that are used in searches. Keyword Research for search terms is the first crucial and essential step towards optimization. It is useless to optimize a website for keywords/phrases that are not used by searchers or are searched very sparingly.
It is important to understand that ranking for keywords/phrases and listing in SERPs on the first page or at number one position cannot be achieved in a day, a week or a month, and requires continuous and regular SEO to achieve and maintain Search Engine Ranking. Ranking depends on the website design, keywords, competing websites, PageRank of the website and competing websites, number of back links, On-Page Optimization parameters, page content, and many other essential parameters. It is also essential to understand that Google uses a complex algorithm to rank individual pages, and not whole websites in SERPs, and considers millions of parameters for a web page. Only Google knows what those parameters are exactly, but Search Engine Optimization Experts and Specialists are aware of many of these parameters through years of analysis and use of Optimization techniques, and can rank a web page, or many pages of a website for keywords/phrases.
Some of the parameters to achieve Search Engine Ranking are keyword research, On-Page Optimization of website pages with keywords/phrases, page content optimization with keywords/phrases, and Off-Page Optimization with link building. Link building or acquiring Back Links is very important for your web pages. Back Links to your website pages from web pages with content related to your web page, or even from sites with unrelated content, but with high PageRank, is beneficial. But care has to be taken to ensure that these Back Links from pages with unrelated content are not from “Bad Neighborhood” sites like gambling, casinos, online pharmacies, or sex and porn related sites. The Quality of the Back Link is more important than the Quantity of the Back Links. It is just like having a few good friends instead of a hundred or a thousand casual acquaintances, or not so loyal friends, or friends with a bad background. After all, your reputation and stature in society depends on the company you keep. The same principle applies to your website in Search Engine Optimization.

All You Need To Know About Generating Traffic With Twitter
All You Need To Know About Generating Traffic With Twitter
In case you haven’t heard, Twitter in now considered the hottest web 2.0 property on the internet, and the main reason for that is because it’s definitely earned that reputation! This short messaging service has gained a lot of popularity and is growing fast. This is great news for most internet marketers as it offers an excellent opportunity for you to drive targeted traffic to your sites and offers. However, if you don’t really know how Twitter marketing works, you might be confused in the start. Here we’ll look at the basics of using Twitter as a marketing tool to create long term residuals.
One of the major reasons Twitter enjoys the enormous popularity it does is because it is capable of driving traffic to highlighted websites. Take advantage of Twitter’s popularity, and use it to your own advantage for marketing your own projects. There are rules, of course, that have to be followed, if you want to find success using Twitter. First and foremost, you need to become an active member of the Twitter community For example, you should add something beneficial to the community. If you simply use it to try to promote your products and spam your way, you will find it will not produce traffic for you. The community would ignore you, or worse, ban your Tweets. Using Twitter to spam your followers is like inviting people to ignore you. The most effective way to use Twitter is to identify others who share your interests or niche, and follow them. In turn, they will follow you. The more members following you, the greater the chance that things will go your way. You have to use the right attitude when you try to use Twitter to generate traffic for marketing. You also have to remember that you have to be an active part of the community, which means respond to others requests and emails. It’s all about being involved like I said. If you join a running discussion on Twitter people will listen to you and respond. Twitter has a valuable feature where your profile can be viewed by the followers of people who reply to your posts. You can quickly snowball an audience into something huge. So, you can see the necessity in making sure you post replies on other people’s tweets, to remain active.
It’s necessary for you to make the effort to build a relationship with your Twitter followers; if you don’t, they won’t trust you enough to buy your products. Once the relationship is solid, they will begin to view you as a fellow enthusiast and authority in your field. Only then should you include promotional links with your content links, but do it in moderation. Another excellent idea is to start making your own targeted searches on Twitter and begin looking for folks who are asking specific questions which are related to you particular niche market. Once you have gathered a quantity of inquiries that are associated with your niche you can begin drafting and sending out solid quality answers to those questions. You can do this by either creating a blog post or a video/audio/article that answers their questions and offers solutions to their problems. People will be looking for practical answers that have some particular value to them. In addition to the valuable information you’re provided you will include a link for your product or affiliate site at the end. As a final suggestion to get the most from Twitter, take the time to do it properly and don’t rush to make sales. Make a commitment to building your following and gaining their trust before you hit them with promotions. You’ll also want to spend a good amount of time doing your research to find those targeted questions.

To make money using Twitter you need three things – a free Twitter account, a way to monetize your Twitter account (either your own website or affiliate links whereby you send visitors to someone else’s website and you earn a percentage of sales) and a working knowledge of how to market via social networking channels.
The first two of those are simple enough to set-up, but the third one is more difficult to implement. You can certainly teach yourself how to market through Twitter though, and these tips will get you going in the right direction…
- Research what people actually want
The most common mistake with any form of marketing is choosing to promote a product or service that your audience does not want or need. Therefore, carefully research what your target audience needs before sending out tweets that promote anything.
- Choose quality over quantity
It is not difficult to get thousands of followers on Twitter. In fact, if you have use certain tools and scripts then you could probably get a few hundred Twitter followers in just a few hours. However, marketing through Twitter is not a numbers game. You are much better to have 10 followers who you have a real relationship with than 100 followers who you have no relationship with.
- Talk to people instead of selling to them
Understand that your Twitter account is not to be used as a digital billboard. You will see some people doing this – they post tweet after tweet of links to products and services – but that does not mean that they are making any money.
OK, so you may not be making money immediately, but if you follow the tips given above, within a month or so you should be seeing the fruits of your labor. Who knows, within a year you could be earning enough to give up your day job!
