Internet Marketing Tips – 3 Easy Steps to Help you Find your Profitable Keywords

Internet Marketing Tips – 3 Easy Steps to Help you Find your Profitable Keywords

The biggest mistake many people make when starting online business is they will create a products that usually based on something they just enjoyed doing. They spend months creating this product before starting to make money selling it… This is the pitfall where many people run into major problems when they begin to do online business. They end up spinning their wheels and finally realize that nobody wants to buy their latest and greatest product that they have spent months of their life creating.

Not only can this be extremely frustrating, but it also ends up completely wasting time and money.

What people should do is finding the “market” first and then creating the product based on what the market wants. That is so much easier than creating the product and then finding the market, which might not exist in the first place.

In this article, I will give you the easy way to find profitable markets. Once you find these markets you could create Adsense websites based on the topics OR you could create entire products around the topic… OR better yet, you could do both!

We will start off by doing Keyword Research. We need to find out profitable keywords so that we can use them to determine our own profitable markets.

Finding profitable keywords is not a difficult task to do. Anyone can use online tools to find valuable and profitable keywords with a few minutes of work, Quick and Easy. You just have to know how to find the answers to these three questions:

1. How many SEARCHES are made each month for your keywords? (DEMAND)

You need to find out how many SEARCHES are made each month for your keyword or keyword phrase.

The more number of searches, the more potential to receive traffic, which means more people come in to your business to either looking for and/or purchase. Thus you can make money.

If your keyword has high number of searches, it will likely be profitable because it is something people are searching for. So you will have more possibility to make money with a high demand keyword. Keep in mind, even a keyword with low number of searches (just 10 to 100 searches each month) may be profitable if you use it to adding into the right market place. However, a keyword which has no any searches is definitely useless to take it of your own. To discover the number of keyword searches, you can use this site like Overture (Yahoo Marketing) or WordTracker for your keyword researching tool. It gives you the number of searches received each month for each keyword you typed in. To quickly find out how many searches made each month for your keyword, go to http://www.inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

This is one of popular free keyword suggestion tool you can use to find the number of searches for the keyword or keyword phrase you are looking for.

2. How much COMPETITION do your keywords have? (SUPPLY)

Here is another important task for you to find out how much COMPETITION your keywords have before you begin to market your chosen products or services. You will hardly get traffics from the keywords with high level of competition. Thus, keep in mind that the most popular keywords will also have much competition, and you won’t to get traffic from them unless you use a PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising system like Google Adwords or Yahoo Marketing.

However, you may begin getting traffics from those high competitive keywords after spending months or even years of content building. The best way is to choose the keywords with little or no competition.

One of the best sites you can find out how much competition of your keywords is Google. Google will give you the number of pages related to the keyword you type in to searching. In order to get more accurate number of pages of your keyword phrase, you should type your keyword phrase within quotation marks such as “special valentine gifts”. And Google will show you the search results featuring your exact keyword phrase you typed in. So you can determine how much competition your keywords have from Google search results.

3. How to KNOW if your keyword is really PROFITABLE?

If people are making money from promoting and optimizing your chosen keywords or keyword phrases, it will be noticed that those keywords are profitable. Make sense?

You can choose your keywords and type it into Google, Yahoo and MSN. And just count the number of Sponsored Links at the top and the right side of the page. If the keyword phrase you typed in is profitable, you will see a lot of sponsored links where there are sites or businesses are advertising, which means there is profit people are making.

In conclusion, if you are starting your business, the very first thing you have to do is finding out your profitable niches or markets by just following these three simple steps above. Once you have found your niche or market you think it would be profitable, you can then select the products related to your niches or markets you chose to promote. Finally I believe your online business will be successful if you put them into your effort.

10 Tips to Help Beginners Become More Comfortable with the Internet

10 Tips to Help Beginners Become More Comfortable with the Internet

Today (free of charge, zero money down, no shipping and handling) I’m providing you with a list of tips that, when followed, will cause your aura to radiate “INTERNET EXPERT” like a big, bright neon sign.

I suggest at least a modest attempt at making the following practices somewhat automatic for you. At the least, devotion to these practices will keep others’ eye-rolls, snickers, and impatient sighs at bay. At the most, you may find yourself being carried about on your co-workers shoulders all day, caught in an outpouring of endearing stares, listening to shouts and cheers of respect somewhere along the lines of “Hear hear for the Internet Expert!”

TIP #1: Never ever use the terms “AOL” and “Internet” as if they were completely interchangeable.
Example no-no: Someone asks if your company has a website. You reply, “Oh yeah! We’re totally on AOL!” Big awful buzzer sound here. AOL is NOT the Internet; AOL is simply one of many browsers that allows you to maneuver about the Internet. It is also a company that likes to put holographic CDs covered with infomercial-like promotions in post offices in attempts of persuading more people into using their services.

TIP #2: Click correctly.
When you’re surfing about the Internet, you likely get from place to place using hyperlinks (a.k.a. “links”). You should be aware that links require nothing more than a single click from the left button on your mouse. Double (or triple . . . or quadruple) clicking and right-clicking on links when you simply want to be taken to a different location are a few of the primary causes of those behind-your-back eyerolls you may not know people have been sending your way. Remember this: With links on the Internet, “one-click, that’s it.”

TIP #3: Remember that search engines are for searching, not for typing in complete URLs.
This means that you do NOT need to head over to Google or Yahoo Search or any other search engine to reach the specific website you already know you want to visit. Instead of typing “www.google.com” into your address bar and then typing in the URL of the site you want to visit in the search box. . . just SKIP going to Google and type the URL of the site you want to visit in the address bar instead!

TIP #4: Understand the term “download” and know how to pull files off the Internet onto your computer when you need/would like them. If you are unclear about the term ‘downloading’, take a look at the simple explanation offered right here.

TIP #5: Use an Internet browser that’s not older than your average kindergartner.
I’ll tell you right now: if you’re using something along the lines of Netscape 1.0 (born 1994) or Internet Explorer 2.0 (born 1996)—you’re seriously not appearing Internet Savvy. To be completely honest, even the use of AOL or Internet Explorer 5 to navigate the web won’t help your image (or your overall Internet experience) all that much either. To appear savvy, consider downloading and using something a bit more recent, such as Internet Explorer 7, or Firefox 3.

TIP #6:
When someone’s surfing the Internet with you and they ask you to “open up a new window,” do NOT furrow your brow and say “huh??”.
This will most definitely not make you appear Internet savvy. Instead simply reply (in an oh-so-suave tone, of course) “Why, of course!”. Then either hold down the “Ctrl” and then the “N” keys on your keyboard OR click on the “File” menu button at the top of the browser screen, then click on “Open New Window.” Many people find that having more than one browser window open at once is extremely handy for viewing multiple websites simultaneously. Try it out.

TIP #8: Whenever a friend or coworker asks a question that no one in the near vicinity can answer, calmly say “Oh I know that.”
Then excuse yourself for just a moment, run to your computer, hop on the Internet, access Google (or your favorite search engine), look up the answer, and return to the questioning party with an eloquent, detailed explanation. Simply being aware that the Internet is home to a mind-boggling amount of information about pretty much everything instantly makes you appear more savvy in general to those around you. It may also encourage you to search the Internet with more regularity, which in turn boosts your true Internet savvy—not simply the appearance of it.

TIP #9: DO NOT click on flashing advertisements that: a) claim you’re the sites 1,000,000th visitor, b) ask you what your favorite color is and show you 4 or 5 circles or hearts or something of the sort, c) state that you were randomly chosen from all site visitors to win 0, etc. etc. etc.
People who are Internet savvy know that those type of advertisements are nothing more than tremendous wastes of time.

TIP #10: For heaven’s sake: always remember that the Internet does not bite.
So don’t act like it does—especially when you’re in the company of others. Doing so will not make you appear Internet savvy.

And that, my friends, is a list of tips that should help you on your way. If you don’t actually become Internet-savvy, well then, I suppose at the very least . . . you can at least appear it. Have fun!

Ten Tips to Help your Web Site Rank Better in Google

Ten Tips to Help your Web Site Rank Better in Google

Over 80 percent of Internet users use Google to find products and services on the world wide web. It stands to reason that if you want to generate more qualified sales leads you need to rank on the first or second page within the search engines results pages on Google.

As Google gets more and more sophisticated with each algorithm update, search engine optimisation methods have to change to keep getting good results.

Here is a list of ten important tactics that you can use to improve your Google rankings.

Sign up for Google Adwords Although Google will deny it, anecdotal evidence suggests that Goggle favors Adwords customers over non-Adwords customers. This is true for new web sites that often take months to get spidered and indexed by Google. I have seen brand new sites get spidered, indexed and listed in the search engine results pages in as little as a week.

It doesn’t have to cost a lot either. You can set up a low budget campaign of 50 cents to one dollar a day and still get favorable treatment.

Use the right keyword phrase The most important factor in getting quality web traffic is to

optimize your web pages for the correct keyword phrase. Getting the most sales is often a balance between search volume for key words and level of competition. Use the Overture keyword tool and Google Adwords tool to research and identify your best keyword phrases. Look for keyword phrases that have high search volume, but low competition. It also pays to see what key words your successful competitors are optimising for.

Put your key word phrase in your title tag Forget about putting your company name in the title tag (unless it is a valuable part of the key words), it’s a waste of words and will not help you rank in the search engines. The first three of four words in your title tag should be the key word phrase you are trying to optimize for. Try to limit your total character count to 60 characters.

Write an attractive page description tag Title tags are for search engines, description tags are for people. Spend time researching and writing a description tag that compels the reader to click on your listing. Come up with a great offer, use action words. Use shock and awe. Use anything that will get them to click.

Use H1 tags An often neglected search engine optimisation technique is to put your keyword phrase in H1 tags on your page. This tells Google that the following text is about your keyword phrase. Google weights H1 tags nearly as highly as title tags. This tip alone can drastically improve your Google. Similarly, the use of bold and strong html tags can emphasize a key word phrase within the paragraph text where it may not be appropriate to use H1 or H2 tags.

Get the right keyword ratio Aim for a keyword density of around 3-5% of the page contents. Try to work your key word phrase into the page so that it reads naturally. This may take some research and analysis of successful web sites. Remember to use headings and sub-headings that include your key words.

Use alt tags and description tags on images Key words used image file names, alt tags and description tags add to the key word density of any web page. They doesn’t make a huge difference, but every little bit helps. In some product classes a Google image search may lead web surfers to your web site.

Get quality one-way incoming links through article marketing and directory submissions As far as Google is concerned; link exchanges are just about dead. They can help to get your web site spidered and indexed more quickly, but these days they add very little in terms of Google search engine rankings unless the link is on a trusted site and that site has excellent page rank. Wikipedia and DMOZ are examples of such trusted sites.

A more effective approach is to write interesting and informative articles and submit them to article directories. Make sure that you use the author bio/resource box to maximum advantage by using your key word phrase in the link anchor text, AND, by pointing the anchor text to the correct page. Your home page may not be the best choice of pages for your selected key phrase. This will also ensure that more pages than just your home page gets indexed.

Use Social book marking If you have something newsworthy, humorous, quirky, unique or shocking to say, submit a link to your web page to sites like digg.com or redit.com. These up and coming web 2.0 power houses can create a buzz overnight driving thousands of interested visitors to your web site.

Note, just because you build it doesn’t mean they will come. If it’s boring link it will quickly get buried by newer and more interesting stories. But what the hell, it’s free to submit links to these sites and you never know your luck.

Record a podcast Google loves podcasts … it just loves them. Get yourself a decent microphone and some podcasting software like Audacity and go for it. Once you have an interesting and tightly edited podcast, put it on your web site and submit it to all the major podcasting directories like iTunes and Podomatic.

Google Adsense Help on Improving Your Site Content

Many people seek information on attaining decent “pr” (page rank) with Google. They usually start somewhere when they begin and usually it’s a pretty simple web page with a Google ad. If they are insistent upon reaching success with Google Adsense that page will turn into something bigger. Usually when someone wants to achieve success they do not want to cut corners. They need to be ambitious and continue to look for a niche. Premade Google Adsense pages usually come with some sort of news feed in RSS and they usually have other auto update features. I don’t really like this idea for auto content. for more detail go to:www.thegoogleincome.com.Automated content is not as effective as people would like you to believe. The reason why is because usually your own auto content feeder is set to update content that is relative to your site. Well every single webmaster that runs a site that has the same content and feeder settings are nearly duplicating your site by coincidence.
Rich fresh content is the ultimate key. I stress this repeatedly throughout all of my Google articles and let me say that it is important. Do not copy content from other websites! Now don’t worry. You won’t likely get sued for it. It will just keep you from standing out in the search results. And standing out is exactly what you are attempting to achieve! In the short “how to” paragraph below I will explain how to “stay fresh” on the web. I will update this article when my free ebook is finished to allow you to download more information and help on improving your site content and helping you deliver fresher content more often.
A Few Simple Steps to Achieving Fresh Content Daily For Free! First make sure you are not doing the following. I am not copying content from other websites to get fresh content daily.
This is important. Fresh content is your own content! You can NOT get fresh content when you are getting it from another online source. This is a misleading scam that many websites use to get people to subscribe via RSS or to copy and paste snippets of code to increase their pr by having their content on so many other people’s websites. I am not falling for software offers that promise fresh content daily via PHP script. These can be useful in providing stickiness but should not be used as a fresh content daily strategy that you turn on and walk away from. These tools should be used only in addition to your own daily fresh content inserts into your page source. I am not displaying more ads than content!
This one surely doesn’t get enough attention! People can tell if you are straining for content when your page is more than 60% ads and 40% or less is decent alluring content. For more help visit to: www.yourgoogleincome.com.Be original and at least attempt to balance out your content so that your pages are unique and can get more people bookmarking them. Nowadays people bookmark pages in so many ways like “Dig” and “Face book” and so many others including “Stumble” and the classic browser bookmarks. These are pr building bookmarks! They work well to build your page rank and are considered Backlinks!
Begin Building Fresh Adsense Pages That Are Rich and Fresh In Content! First you need a niche topic that is really hot! Like maybe a page on celebrities for example. If you watch a lot of television you could keep up to date on this by checking out the Entertainment News channels. Sure its old news by the time it hits your page but the point is it’s written in your own words and you are going to update this daily. This will become your sole duty when online everyday. Always check the top headlines on all of the news channels that cover Entertainment so that you will be quick to jot the new facts down.

How Directory Submissions Can Help in Improving Search Engine Rankings

How directory submissions can help in improving search engine rankings.

Directory submissions the name itself conveys the message that it is related to submissions to a directory or directories. Directories now a days a very popular way to get traffic as well as a link back to your website which is counted a vote to your website in search engines point of view and which tells them the popularity of your website.

What is a directory?

A directory is a list or a collection of website addresses which is organized in a categorized format to provide a unique information system of Webpage’s in terms of websites.

What is Submission?

The process of submitting websites for inclusion into directories, Search engines for indexing in terms of websites.

Directories are a good way to improve search engine placements and search engine positioning. When you submit a website to a web directory you will get a one way link back which is a vote towards your website in search engines point of view. If you get few hundreds of good link backs i.e. one way link back, then your search engine position will grow very fast.

There are two types of web directories:

1.Static Web directory

2.Dynamic web directory

Dynamic web directories only helps in getting some traffic to your websites but are not useful for search engine positioning as they don’t provide a direct link to your website which cannot be considered as a vote to your website.

Static web directories helps in both ways, traffic as well as search engine positioning because it give a direct link to your website which will be counted as a vote to your website.

I have a list of few such high quality static web directories:

1.www.webodirectory.com

2.www.webidirectory.com

3.www.webdirectory4all.com

4.www.healthidirectory.com

For a huge list of web directories visit our website www.seo4webs.com

Selection of quality web directories can lead higher search engine rankings and good traffic.

Now a days Google, the very popular search engine provide a technology called Page Rank, which tells how much a website is popular or important in Google point of view, there are many websites which can tell us the page rank of a website but Google itself provides a tool bar which gives a websites Page rank details. If you are getting link back from a good quality and high page rank web directories then your weight on search engines will increase and you will get strong position in search engine listings.

I have recently tried this good quality web directory submission process on one of my website www.egoggle.com and it has shown its effect and I got very high search engine placements for many keywords.

Few important points to remember when considering a web directory for submission:

1.It should be a static web directory.

2.It should have high Google Page Rank.

3.It has to be categorized in organized manner.

4.It should not move results to next pages as soon as it has new inclusions.

How A Secondary Website Can Help Your Real Estate Business

If you’re looking for a unique way to get your real estate business out in the public eye, consider a separate website that plays to one of your interests. The people who come to your secondary website in search of information about the interest may also be persuaded to consider you for their next real estate transaction. Your keys to utilizing this form of advertising are genuine interest in your chosen subject, a neat and easy to navigate website, and effective advertising.

Brian and Rita Burke of Kenna & Co. Real Estate have done just that with their Highlands Ranch Pets page, which has netted them at least one client. The Pets page is a pet directory for Highlands Ranch; a suburb of Denver CO. Its main claim to fame is the Lost & Found Pets pages. There is little to indicate that Kenna & Co. Real Estate has anything to do with the site besides a small reference link at the bottom, but it has managed to call attention to their business to the point where someone using the Highland Ranch Pets site has felt encouraged to seek them out.

It helps if your website has to deal with something local, such as the above example of a local pets page. Something that has to do with the locale that you deal with real estate in is more likely to draw people interested in the area and consequently more interested in real estate in the area. Subjects like local charities, drives, events and directories of interest to residents or potential residents are good ones to start with.

You must be interested in your chosen subject if you are to succeed in using this website as a form of advertising for your real estate business. Whether it is collecting stamps or information about local charity drives for battered wives, you should be passionate about it. Passion serves two purposes: it means that you are more likely to stick with your secondary website for its own sake and you are more likely to write in a manner that enthuses other people on the subject.

You should get a domain name that reflects what the website is about: HighlandsRanchPets.com is something that tells the viewer immediately that the site is about pets in Highlands Ranch. It’s easy for people to remember. A short, relevant domain name also looks better on business cards and flyers.

The design of your website should be simple. It should be uncluttered and easy to find information. While pictures do accentuate a website, too many can cause download problems. To start out, get an easy template and use it while you build your page’s reputation, until you have the time to create your own or the luck to happen upon the “perfect” set-up for your website.

One solution to this is auto-installations of software such as Wordpress, which allow you to have a website and/or blog with very little work. There are many free templates on the Internet that you can modify to better reflect your website or leave as they are to save time.

Another time-saver is Google alerts. Google bots trawl all manner of pages to provide Google users with the most up-to-date search results. They can be used to send Google Alerts on a specific subject or phrase to your In-box, which saves you time searching for news about your locale or subject.

If you have the inclination and time, a secondary website that showcases your location and a hobby or issue that interests you can help to advertise your real estate business and gather new clients. It takes some dedication of time and resources, but can ultimately be rewarding, both for your business and for the subject you have chosen to dedicate it to.
