One way to do this is to purchase links on website which possess a high Google Page Rank.  However, be very careful as Google now actively tracks down on websites who actively purchase text link for the purpose of boosting their page rank score.  If the site where you purchase a link from is very open about selling links, please stay away from them as Google may have red flagged this website already.  Linking from them will just boost your spam score in Google and could cause your current positions to slip and prevent your optimized keywords from appearing in the top results. 

Another important initial analysis of your website is to determine how many links are pointing to your website.  A quick way to check how many websites link to yours and your competitor’s websites is to install the Firefox Extensions on your browser (Firefox).  When you search for one of your keywords in Google, you can view much valuable information such as how many links are pointing to yours and your competitor’s site, age of domain, Alexa Rank, Directory listings such as DMOZ, Yahoo Directory and BOTW and much more.  If your competitors have lots of links pointing to their websites, this tells you that you really need to work on your link popularity.  However, quantity of links is not the most important anymore but the quality is what Google is looking after nowadays.  One great way of building one way links quickly is article syndications.   If you write highly quality articles, many websites would like to add your information source on their websites.  However, you need to implement a RSS feed on your website before.  So to summarize, if your website have a low Google page rank and if your site is not linked up well, do not expect immediate results.  It is impossible to say how long it will take to gain measurable results but a ballpark figure would be around 6 months depending on your industry.

Keywords
If you’re not sure what a keyword is, visit Overture or Wordtracker and do some simple research there as to what keywords people are typing into the search engines. Each page should be optimized for at least one keyword, but the idea of sprinkling a few minor keywords through your pages will attract you instant traffic whilst you wait to rank for the more competitive keywords. Many people don’t even think of the one obvious place to get advice, which is from Google themselves! They have plenty of free resources to help you make the most of Adsense, including the “heatmap” which will help you to place your ads in the most profitable position.
You can also just type in “Free Adsense Keywords” to the search engines and you’ll find plenty of websites offering you free keywords as an incentive to sign up to their program. You won’t have to pay a cent and this’ll get you started on finding high paying keywords.

If you’ve already got good content that’s keyword rich, then work to increase your search engine traffic.

Recent Changes at Google & Yahoo!

Google recently changed their page ranking system for search results. These changes have far reaching ramifications for your website. The quality and ranking of the pages you link to and those that link to you now matter more than ever.

Previously, Yahoo! would display its own directory listings first, before displaying Google’s web listings. Now Google and Yahoo’s! results are displayed together on one results page, in a simpler display.

Google will schedule your page for spidering and the Google-bot will examine and index your page, as well as the links to and from your page. Submit each page separately as you optimize them. Yahoo! will only display one result from one domain in its directory results for any keyword. Removing A Video From Youtube/google Search Results

Over the course of last two days, I uploaded three versions of the video – ‘Arun and Gopika – Wedding Invite’ to youtube. Yesterday I deleted the first two versions and replaced it with a re-edited brand new version. At the end of the day, there is only one video uploaded by me to youtube.

However, when I google for the video name (or search for the video name in youtube), I see the deleted videos show up in the list. When I click on these videos, it shows a message indicating that the video has been removed by the owner.

Thanks. The videos I deleted were removed from the google and youtube search results two days after the deletion of video from youtube. Looks like it takes around 48 hours for the search system to catch up with the changes made to the already uploaded videos.
Over the course of last two days, I uploaded three versions of the video – ‘Arun and Gopika – Wedding Invite’ to youtube. Yesterday I deleted the first two versions and replaced it with a re-edited brand new version. At the end of the day, there is only one video uploaded by me to youtube.

However, when I google for the video name (or search for the video name in youtube), I see the deleted videos show up in the list. When I click on these videos, it shows a message indicating that the video has been removed by the owner.

Is there a way I can remove these deleted videos from search results in google and youtube?
