Top 10 Technology Easter Eggs from Apple / Google
Top 10 Technology Easter Eggs from Apple / Google
Technology Easter eggs are included in computer programs, websites, CDs, etc and are basically hidden messages or jokes. Let us look at some of these created by Google and Apple.
1. Recursion
Everybody is aware of the fact that if you type in a wrong spelling in the Google search engine, it will give you the right one with the help of the “did you mean” feature. However, if you type in this particular word with the correct spelling, Google will continuously suggest the exact same spelling again and again till you realize that the joke is on you!
2. Talk to a Martian
With the help of a certain application created by Google Earth 5, users were told that they could speak to Martians on Mars by entering “Meliza” in the search engine. While you will chat with something, it will not be a Martian but Eliza- an application with artificial intelligence. Eliza is not very interesting to speak to.
3. The Meaning of Life
If you are to enter the following phrase- “answer to life, the universe and everything” in the search engine, the first result you will see is “42″ and a small calculator will be made next to it. There are other phrases that will confuse you just the same and probably make the engineers laugh. These include “once in a blue moon” which will give “1.16699016 × 10-8 hertz” as the answer and “number of horns on a unicorn” will give “1″ as the answer.
4. Ascii Art
ASCII Art is a term used to describe any image that is created with the help of keyboard characters. Even though this style is quite obsolete, it is still as popular. Google engineers are quite fond of this art as the doodle alters when the phrase is searched for.
5. Swim the Atlantic
When Google Maps were new and somebody was to ask for directions between locations and areas that had water bodies in between them, the user would be asked to travel a bit and then ‘start swimming for 3,500 miles’. This Easter egg has been removed.
6. Google Gulp
This fictitious drink was created by Google 5 years back and it was said that it had the power to enhance the user’s intelligence and allow him to use the search engine more effectively. The user’s DNA would be analyzed and certain adjustments would then be carried out in the brain. It came in flavors like Sugar-Free Radical and Glutamate Grape.
7. Scratch and Sniff
On April Fools Day in 2009, Google told its users that they would be able to scratch and sniff the e-books. They were asked to press their noses up against their monitors and press enter.
8. Weather for Nowhere
This Easter Egg is found in Mac OS X Tiger. After opening the dashboard, clicking on the Weather Widget and pressing the Alt and command key together, if the user was to ask for the current weather, he would find that his location has been changed to “Nowhere”.
9. Text Game
If a Mac user is to click on Terminal and press enter after typing in the following phrase- emacs-batch-1 dunnet, a text game will start loading which is extremely addictive and will be the sole reason for your unproductively.
10. Knock Knock
If you own a Mac OS X and you wish to laugh, go to the Speech Recognition option and click on “Apple Speakable Items”. Hysterically enough, if you ask your computer to tell you a joke, it will do just that. Usually it comes up with not-so-funny knock knock jokes.
Dissecting Search Engine Optimization, SEO Tips from Green Web Hosting provider
Dissecting Search Engine Optimization, SEO Tips from Green Web Hosting provider
Dissecting Search Engine Optimization:
Why Google, Yahoo and Bing = Web Success
How to get more visitors to your website, which can in-turn, increase profits.
Tips from your Green Website Hosting Provider
If you’re just starting out in the world of e-commerce and your looking for a green web hosting provider, welcome to the shark tank. The world wide web (W3) is the fastest growing, most competitive and most exciting marketplace in the history of buying and selling.
The world wide web is also the place entrepreneurs have the opportunity to actually build a successful business for just a few bucks. The W3 has changed everything, which is why you’re thinking of diving in.
Optimization is probably NOT at the top of your “to-do” list. But it sure should be.
SEO often makes the difference between web success and a “down in flames” scenario you don’t even want to think about.
Introducing the Search Engine
The first search engine was introduced by Yahoo in 1994 and as soon as Yahoo released this now-essential tool, search engine optimization began. Search engines, like Google (the 800-pound gorilla of search engines) provide the “address” of the web site that contains the information or products you’re looking for. Prior to 1994, we were all wandering around the web without a road map or an address book.
Today, simply type in a search query, using keywords, and Google, Yahoo, Bing and the other 4,000 search engines crawling the web, and you’ll see dozens of Search Engine Results Pages, or SERPs, offering suggestions for web sites that would interest you based on the keywords you entered into the search box.
The War Between Google and SEOs
Search engine optimizers (SEOs) somewhat understand how search engines evaluate a web site and their job is to manipulate the machine – to get search engines to rank their clients’ web sites higher in the SERPs.
The chances of a search engine user clicking on a SERPs link are much higher if that link is on page 1 of Google’s SERPs rather than on page 152. Think about your own use of search engines. When you make a search query, you look at the results found on the first few pages. When was the last time you drilled down to page 152 of Google SERPs? Never!
The reason is simple. The prime objective of a search engine is to deliver SERPs links that are relevant to the keywords entered into the search box. The more relevant the web site based on the query, the higher the web site ranks in SERPs.
Search engines employ top-secret algorithms – complex mathematical formulas – to assess what a web site is all about, to classify a web site within the search engine index and to deliver relevant SERPs to users.
If you type in “snow tires” into the Google search box and a bunch of SERPs listing knitting stores, sports memorabilia and health food stores appeared on Google’s SERPs, pretty soon you’d stop using Google because it was a waste of time.
On the other hand, if you type in “snow tires,” and find local retail tire stores, you can do some comparison shopping on prices, look for special sales and even print out a map to get to the tire store. When it comes to search engines, it’s all about relevance – how relevant are the search results based on what the search engine user types into the search box.
Positive and Negative Ranking Factors
Search engines use small snippets of code, called bots or spiders, that “crawl” a wide site to determine the topicality of the web site and how good that web site is in terms of relevance to the keywords entered by the search engine user.
Bots move through a web site looking for letter strings – the repetition of the same sequence of letters. So, if a bot finds numerous references to “snow tires,” the bot assumes the web site is about snow tires.
Now, it could be a tire store, research on snow tire performance, a national manufacturer snow tire web site, a PhD thesis on snow tires, but search engine spiders look for repeating letter strings to assess into which category a particular web site should be indexed or classified.
The natural inclination, therefore, is to use the words “snow tires” a lot. The more the better, right? Well, search engine algorithms are created to recognize what’s called keyword stuffing – the overuse of certain keywords and terms designed to attract the attention of search engine bots.
If you sell bananas on line, and every other word of your web site text is “banana,” search bots are programmed to recognize keyword stuffing and when it does, the web site ranks lower in relevance than the web site that provides helpful information on the purchase of bananas.
Linkage – the number of web sites that link to your web site – is another ranking factor. The more web sites linking in to your web site, the higher your web site is ranked. The thinking here? If other site owners link to a web site, they’re recommending it to their own site visitors, an indication of a really good web site.
There are dozens and dozens of ranking factors and endless debate on which factors matter most. Even SEOs – men and women who earn their salaries optimizing web sites – don’t agree on which factors have a positive effect on SERPs rank and which don’t, creating an endless debate.
Search Engine Bots Never Bought Anything
Okay, so now you’re thinking about search engine optimization and how to improve your site’s rank on Google’s or Yahoo’s SERPs, right? Well you should.
The better optimized your site is, the higher it will appear on SERPs. And SERPs drive a lot of traffic to a web site. In the case of many web sites, Google accounts for 60% of all visitors who visit that particular web site so ranking highly in Google SERPs sends visitors to your web site.
However, it’s important to remember that search engine bots never bought a thing. These computer code snippets crawl your web site, gobble up letter strings and index the pages of your web site.
They don’t buy anything, so even if your web site does rank highly on Yahoo’s search engine results pages, it doesn’t necessarily indicate that web success is within your grasp. On the contrary, you may rank highly for obscure, little-used keywords. If you own a hearing aid repair web site, you’ll see organic traffic only when search engine users type in “hearing aid repair” – and that’s not going to happen a million times a day, that’s for sure.
The Web Screen
Your web site consists of two key components – the HTML or XML code that actually creates the web site and the presentation layer or web site skin – the web site that humans actually see.
Think of a web site as a screen. Behind the screen are lines of code that search engine spiders see. Googlebots never see the other side of the screen – the presentation layer. That’s for humans only. However, humans never see the underpinnings of the web site – the source code – the lines of HTML code that create the look, feel and the structure of your web site.
This actually simplifies the process of optimizing your web site for search engine spiders. The code, crawled by spiders, should be optimized for spiders so these search engine tools accurately identify all of the content your web site contains.
On the other side of the screen – the presentation layer – optimize for humans. The color scheme, the type font, the navigation architecture and navigation bar – everything on the presentation layer should be deigned to appeal to humans. Bots never even see your pretty choice of colors or the cool graphics you had created. In fact, bots can’t read any web site element that has a graphic extension like jpg, gif, bmp or other non-text extension.
Balance Creates Web Success
The key to long-term web success is balance. That’s what search engines want so give it to them.
A good SEO copy writer can effectively work in the words “snow tires” up to 5% of the total site text – about the maximum you want before search engines slam you for keyword stuffing.
Also, play by the rules. The rules are laid out clearly by search engine developers and are available for any new web site owner to review. For example, some site designers might employ invisible text. How?
Place white text against a white background and it’s invisible to the human eye, though bots can still read it without a hitch. So, you might be tempted to place the search term “snow tires” in invisible type all over your web site.
Don’t. Bots, and the mathematical formulas that direct them, have grown more and more sophisticated over the years and if you get “caught” using any of these illegal tactics, you lose page rank, and your site may even be banned. You’re out of business.
Optimize your HTML code for spiders. Optimize the presentation layer for humans with credit cars and telephones looking for the closest place to get a new pair of “snows.”
Then, wait for the telephone to start ringing. It will – if you do it right.

Make Money With AdSense – 5 Power Tips to Make 0 a Day From AdSense
The Google AdSense program still offers one of the most effective, easiest & lucrative ways to make loads of money online.
However whilst this may be true it only rewards those internet marketers who are savvy enough to know how to use the AdSense program to their advantage.
In other words AdSense definitely does not reward everyone equally – some AdSense publishers will struggle to earn a few measly dollars while others are making in excess of 0,000 a month.
Which group of AdSense publishers would you rather be in?
I’m sure you would choose to be amoungst the big earners, in which case read the following power tips to get your Google AdSense campaign started on the right track…
5 Powerful Tips To Make Money From AdSense
Niche
Choose your website’s niche, theme or topic carefully.
If the niche is not a popular one there may not be enough Google Adwords advertisers for AdSense to serve up enough relevant ads on your web page.
Content
Build your website with lots of compelling & interesting content to ensure site popularity & good traffic.
Get Traffic
Your site may look great but don’t forget that: No Traffic = No Revenue
So you need to generate targeted traffic to your site – unqualified traffic will not help as the site visitors are unlikely to be interested in your website’s topic and therefore won’t be interested in clicking the Google related ads.
AdSense Optimization
While getting search visitors to your website is a vital part of the earning process, getting them to click on your ads is just as important – therefore your site’s ads need to be correctly optimized to encourage this.
Test & Tweak
You need to experiment with the positioning & size of your ads.
The AdSense program provides site diagnostics, reports & various other tools to help you ensure that you are getting the most out of your AdSense account.
So while making money with AdSense’s set and forget, auto pilot type of arrangement is relatively easy, you aren’t going to make anywhere near what you can from it unless you tap into the best AdSense brains in the business.

A New Search Engine From Ex-googlers Challenges Google
A New Search Engine From Ex-googlers Challenges Google
Have you heard about Cuil? Cuil is a newly launched search engine that will work in rivalry with Google. It is now becoming popular all over the world as cool search engine that can display almost millions of related results in every search. Cuil is derived from an old Irish term that means knowledge. It is usually pronounced as “cool”. Some Googlers even believed that Cuil will outrage the popularity of Google in the future years.
Special Features of Cuil
Over the years, there had been plenty of search engines that tried to defeat Google. However, none of them become successful even though of the fact that the persons ore teams behind the operation of these search engines were once workers of Google and other search engines companies. Here are some known names of the said workers:
Russel Power & Anna Patterson – previously belongs to the team of Google’s search index
om Costello – previously belong to the WebFountain project of IBM
Louis Monier – creator of the Alta Vista search engine
With the combined excellence and intelligence of the above persons, Cuil is now becoming as popular as Google and other major and know search engines.
Cuil versus Google
There are four major features of Cuil that Google does not have. With these features, Cuil is easier distinguished from Google:
Cuil has the largest index compared to Google that is very useful with topics that do not have relevant or popular results.
Cuil believes that popularity is not that everything matters as what Google is claiming. It does not focus much on the page rankings and linking to be able to display search results. Cuil gives importance on very complex searches as it try to analyze contents of every web page. The process of analysis is resulted into greater context.
Cuil is using a new page format for its displayed results. Not like Google with long list of results, Cuil displays its results in three columns and with added images if available or possible. It also offers ideas and roll-over definitions for much finer search.
Cuil does not collect user data such as personally identifiable information, cookies, names, and IP addresses in contrast with other search engines. In this way, the possibility of turning over the data to other users will never happen.
Are the displayed results of Cuil far better than Google?
According to some users, the displayed results of Cuil are quite good. It cannot be concluded that it is better or much worse than the displayed results of Google. In fairness to Google, its displayed results always depend on the needs and queries of the searcher.
As mentioned above as one of the major features of Cuil, it analyzes every search whether simple or complex. Obviously, with this feature, Cuil can be able to understand different meaning of words. One great example of the search is for the word “tiger”, the return results of Cuil for this search will display the companies with that name, the golf player and any operating system or software. Aside from the large index and analyzed results displayed by Cuil, it’s hard to conclude that it will be a Google killer.
As an initial reaction from Google, it implemented a blog post concerning to the newly released search engine of Cuil. With this move, Google had been alarmed, thus they paid attention on it.
Cuil is being supported by the top 10 optimizers of IBP. If you want to learn more on the deeper insights of how the ranking of web pages results works well, you can analyze your own website with IBP’s Top 10 Optimizers. Basically, the IBP’s Top 10 Optimizers works hand in hand with Google as it helps you how your web pages can be able to qualify for the ranking algorithm of Google.

A Speedier Internet from Google
A Speedier Internet from Google
Google is currently the top search engine company in the industry, both in terms of market share and technology. To reach the top spot in an Industry which analysts predict could balloon in to a multi-billion dollar one, it took a Google that has an abundant supply of innovation, great foresight and to a big extent, a stealthily-developed arsenal of one the best and most advanced Search Engine Technology the whole Industry has ever seen (or not seen, since Google is trying its best to keep competitors in the dark about the true extent and power of their biggest weapon – their clusters of datacenters). Although they’re at the front of the pack right now, Google and its army of engineers are in no way sitting on their laurels. Innovation is what brought them where they are now, and innovation is definitely what they’re continually using to bring the company forward. Google’s engineers are continually working on ways to improve their search engine’s performance and to give additional features that will enhance user experience.
Although it could be very easy to miss because of its sheer simplicity, speed is one of the key reasons why Google is number one. They understood early on that in order to provide a top-notch user experience, search results must be delivered to the user in the shortest time possible. Even when on a dial up connection, Google has designed its search engine in such a way that the web search results appear in a snap. One might say that Google has perfected the speed aspect of search engine results delivery, but displaying the list of results is just half of the story. What happens when a user clicks on the result is also an important component in the overall experience of the search engine user. Google therefore wants to improve on the Internet for the user searching for information. Improving the speed of the Internet for the users is also important to Google’s other mission: to bring software applications that a user uses from the desktop to the web. The idea of network computing is something that is not entirely new, but it is only lately that we are seeing a start (albeit still slow and not without its own share of challenges) towards the right direction. Products like Gmail, Google spreadsheets, Google Calendar and Writely are testament to this Company mission.
So now we know that Google wants to deliver a user experience in a much faster way than what the current Internet technology has to offer. Now we move on to the how question. Or, how Google intends to improve the speed at which information is retrieved and delivered to the user.
We’ll start with what Google is doing now to address the problem of speed, moving on later on the company’s future plans, clues of which can be found in the company’s patent applications.
Web page pre-fetching is one method that is generally used in increasing the speed at which a web page is accessed and Google is using it in now in its search engine. Users using Firefox browser to search Google may have already felt the effect of pre-fetching without them knowing it. Google currently pre-fetches the top items in the list of search results especially if the algorithm has determined that it is most likely to be clicked by the user. Pre-fetching a web page means that the browser will download a web page to the user’s computer even before the user has clicked on the link to it such that when the user actually clicks the link, the page is loaded quickly from user’s computer memory.
The Google web accelerator is another Google product that aims to speed up the Internet experience for the users. It speeds up the speed of Internet users on broadband using a desktop component and dedicated Google servers to cache content and compress certain data before it is sent to the user GWA also uses a more aggressive pre-fetching feature that works not only on Google search result pages but also on other pages that the user is using.
The Google web accelerator and the page pre-fetching feature of the Google search engine are two methods currently being used by Google in bringing a speedier Internet experience to the user, but there are a lot more that Google is doing in its labs to make the Internet even faster, or more specifically in some cases, the speed at which information is delivered to the user. Search being the second most popular activity done by users on the Internet, speed improvements on information retrieval and delivery is an important improvement on the user experience of many Internet users.
“Predictive information retrieval” and “anticipated query generation and processing in a search engine” -two patent applications by the search company, says a lot about how Google aims to improve the search experience by hinging on one thing: anticipating and predicting what the user is looking for. The focus of the patent application mentioned is returning search results faster and more personalized for the user.
The search engine that Google wants to develop will capture the keyboard characters as they are entered by the user, then sends partial queries to the Google servers that are actually predicted by an algorithm based on what it thinks that the user is actually looking for. This prediction is based on a list of words found on one or more dictionaries which can differ from one user to user. The search engine can therefore predict what you are looking for based both on what other people are looking for and a personalized profile that Google can make out of what it knows about the user. This can include the user’s search history or other factors. Google can then display the list of suggested keywords to the user and in some cases, actual search results. Predictive information retrieval when perfected will make searching experience speedier for the user, and will smartly optimized the work being done by the search engine.
Google has a lot to gain in a speedy Internet, that’s why it’s also investing a lot of money and engineer time towards this goal. Whatever Google delivers to the table to improve the way users use the Internet, it is a sure win for its users and customers. In the same way that we don’t know how we managed to live in a world of dial up connection now that we’re on broadband, we might be surprised in what the future will be offering in harnessing more the speed potential of the Internet.

6 Reasons You Don’t Get Traffic From Google
6 Reasons You Don’t Get Traffic From Google
If your website receives very little traffic from Google, it should be cause for concern. After all, search traffic from Google is free and can help you save lots of money by minimizing the need for paid advertising. Below, we list six different reasons why your website may not be getting traffic from Google.
Poor Search Engine Optimization
One of the biggest reasons why Google doesnât send traffic to websites is poor search engine optimization. Some things that cause your website to be poorly optimized include:
Lack of unique titles and meta tags. When your web pages show up in search engines, a title and description is shown. If you havenât created your own titles and descriptions, Google simply selects an appropriate snippet of your content. But by creating your own unique titles and meta descriptions, you can control what prospective visitors see and compel them to visit your website. Inflated source code. Believe it or not, Google only indexes a certain amount of content per web page. So the smaller your webpage is, the more likely that it will be indexed in its entirety. Poor placement of content. Because Google only indexes a finite portion of a web page, starting from the top, content placement is very important. You want to make sure that your main content is always towards the top of each page.
By optimizing your web pages, Google will be able to discern the subject of your site and display it in search engine results pages.
Excessive Use of Ads
Google is on high alert against spammers. So if your website contains an excessive amount of ads and little content, or if your website is new and contains AdSense, Google will often relegate the website to the Google Sandbox or supplementary index. This will mean that your website will get little to no search engine traffic.
To remedy this situation, be sure to serve high quality content and wait before deploying AdSense on new websites.
Duplicate Content
Do you write your own unique content, or does your site simply republish articles that are hosted elsewhere? Or perhaps your website just aggregates content. To get Google to show you favor, you will need unique content.
Freshness
How often do you add new content? Google neglects websites that donât regularly add new content. So if you have a blog, it is probably a good idea to have at least one new post per week. For other websites, new content should be added at least twice every month. If you do not have new content, consider revising/updating an existing page.
Perhaps Google doesnât know about you.
Make sure that you have submitted your website to Google. Additionally, make sure that your pages are well-linked. Finally, you should also consider submitting a sitemap to Google, which will ensure that Google knows about all of your websiteâs pages.
Low Pagerank or Penalties
Google calculates the relative worth of a web page (pagerank) based on the number of websites that link to that page. So, it is important to regularly seek new linking opportunites. At the same time, however, it is important to be careful of how you get links and who you decide to link to. Believe it or not, Google may penalize your website if you link to questionable sites or buy links. Also, be sure that you are not employing any black hat seo tactics.
Getting Google to send you traffic isnât hard. Just employ these tips, and you will start to see results. For additional information, see our article Why Google Isnât Visiting Your Website.

Article Source: http://www.articlesbase.com/ – Web Optimization and More; Inside Tips From a New York Web Design Company
As an SEO consultant and author I spend a lot of time looking for the best Web designers from the US and abroad. We exchange our best tips and then discuss the results we got from those tips. Designers teach me better design and I share tips on how to get their great sites to the very top of Google, MSN and Yahoo. The most recent collaboration stands out among others and was a huge success. The information we shared helped each of us do better than ever before so we decided to publish our findings for you. That said; here is an interview with a New York Web design firm.
What makes a New York Web design company any different from other Web design companies? That’s easy… Competition. Just look at how many design firms there are out there and you will see what I mean! In the city or outside, someone seeking high quality Web design in New York faces hundreds of choices in an area of just a few city blocks. Now that’s competition!
If you are not from the area it can be difficult to envision. This might help… Imagine typing “New York web design” into Google’s search box and getting hundreds of pages with thousands of links of returns. Instead of clicking on those links however, you’re walking into hundreds of offices; each offering their own unique flavor of Web design.
But, with the competition comes a competitive edge that is critical in a struggling economy. Of course we all want to look good on the Internet, but when you’re competing with your real live neighbors in addition to those online; you have to step it up a notch.
With that said, I offer some inside advice from a successful New York Web design firm. Let’s focus our attention on Website usability. This has the unfortunate distinction of being both the most important yet generally least considered aspect of design all too often and the Website owners suffer for the oversights.
First off, most people do not really read a Web page at first glance; they scan it to see if there is something worth actually reading. You need to get their attention right away and keep it. Here’s how…
1.) Jump in with your most powerful content right off the bat. Grab hold of their attention immediately and keep it. Never save the best for last unless you have something nearly as good to lead the reader there.
2.) Keep your functional areas as consistent as possible throughout your site. This is especially true of the navigation links (top, left, right, etc.) search fields, logins, and anything else needing user interaction. The more at ease your visitor feels working through the site, the more likely he or she is to stay for a while and go even deeper.
3.) Embed a link to your homepage within your company logo. This is expected by just about every site visitor who has been on the Web for any length of time. It’s a safety net many users rely and to deny it could result in major inconvenience to your visitors.
4.) Add a search box in an easy to find, consistent location. And be certain it searches ONLY within your Website. Having a search feature that offers to “Search The Web” gives your visitors an invitation to leave your site. Why would you want that?
Secondly, keep in mind that search engines will also be looking at your site. Making it pretty is not enough. It needs to attract the search engine as much as live visitors if you ever expect those live visitors to find it in the first place. This is known as search engine optimization, or SEO. It’s more complicated today than in years past but still quite doable. Here are three “must do” tasks for you to complete if you want your site on top of Google.
1.) Use keywords as anchor text (the visible clickable words) in your links throughout your page’s content. This is huge! Allow me to demonstrate how powerful this one element can be.
Navigate to Google.com and run a search for the term “Click Here” (no quotes.) Take note of two things right away… Number one, there are more than 1.6 billion other (competing) Web pages. Number two, the top match returned is a link to Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Ready for a surprise? Click Here is not anywhere on the page text or META tags. The page is number one, out of 1.6 Billion pages, because thousands of Web pages supplying a link to Acrobat “Click Here” as their anchor text of choice. Amazing, isn’t it?
This is great news for you! You can easily take advantage of that power by linking to and from pages within your Website. Which leads us nicely into Tip number two…
2.) If you deem that SEO is a priority for your site, create a unique page for each of your main keywords. Just be sure to link the anchor text from each page to the page that has that specific keyword as its focus.
Industry Advice: If you are a blog specialist or Web designer by trade, offering SEO as part of your services is a natural fit that can double the value of your work, or more. With so many good SEO products available to help you get professional results with minimal effort, you can usually rely on reputation as a good indicator of potential success. For example, eBay, Motorola and Lexmark all stake their online success on a tool you can get for 0 at http://www.iBusinessPR0M0TER.com.
3.) Relevant anchor text should also be at the top of your mind when you are requesting inbound links from other sites. This is what Google uses as its strongest measurement to gage the quality of your pages.
This is how you can build your brand using your own words. Getting visitors there is only half the challenge, keeping them is a whole different matter.
Now, similar to tip number 2, you want to request specific keywords be used in the anchor text leading to your pages from other sites. And be sure to request each link to the most appropriate page. Just linking to the homepage doesn’t cut it anymore.
Warning: Avoid reciprocal link farms like the plague! They are so easy for Google to spot it’s a joke.
If you are in need of quality links but don’t have time to setup link partnerships yourself, you may want to try a service that facilitates “3 way linking” like the one at http://www.3WayLinker.com.
It’s very simple and really pretty ingenious. Here’s how it works… Site 1 links to Site 2. Site 2″ links to Site 3. And Site 3 links to Site 1 forming an indirect chain of one way links.
That’s all for now. Good luck!

The Apache Guerilla Warfare Business Model is especially relevant in 2010. Know the business landscape like the back of your hand, be opportunistic. Use Apache Guerilla Business Tactics: Be constantly vigilant for new opportunities – smell out water holes, eat rattlesnake if you have to (tastes like chicken!), live off the land, attack pre-dawn, never take the calvary on head on, shoot from the hip, see yourself as a warrior-spirit, be thankful when you capture wild horses.

69-Year-Old First-time Author Turns Frustration Into Paperback Gold
I recently read an article about a first time author who is enjoying runaway success with her book on shopping etiquette. After learning it was written by a 69-year-old grandmother, and stroke victim, I decided to call her for an interview. Long story short; I learned more in that conversation than my last year of grad school. Her unbeatable attitude and ‘back to basics’ tips are priceless.

Think Outside the Book: Writing for Profit Today
My first five years as a writer were the toughest. I had amassed enough rejection letters from publishers to recycle into a whole tree. I just didn’t understand what was going on. I followed advice from top experts, subscribed to the plenty of writers newsletters and even paid nineteen hundred dollars for a copywriting course from one of the nation’s “leading copywriting programs.” So what was I doing wrong?

AT T goes from a search in Googles latest Android phone
We gave AT T difficult , removed the Google search, Yahoo on your first phone on Android Backflip , but the carrier now reversed that experiment with new HTC Aria .
In a quick demo video new Aria, AT Ts Product Manager Dante Martin presents the ability to search for a voice device which is powered by Google. We also benefit from a quick look at the home screen search widget, also powered by Google.
All AT T custom applications for Android make a return(Family Maps, Hot Spots, maps, navigator, radio), but it looks like the carrier has left all other Google services on site. Customers who purchase Aria will continue to have access to Gmail, Gtalk, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Navigation and the official Android Market.
At this moment we still have the rank of AT T as the last option for the purchase of equipment for Android, but it may turn out this year. AT T is reportedly to launch a wave of high-end Android phones this summer( Galaxy S Dell Streak LG Aloha ) and its new data cheaper plans average user can save money. Google Adsense: Keeping Your Account From Being Disabled
Google Adsense: Keeping Your Account From Being Disabled
How Can I Make Sure That My Account Will Not Be Disabled?
Google Adsense Program Policies make no allowances for deceptive practices. The most important thing a publisher can do to ensure the integrity of their site is to be aware of what is happening on your site.
Google has made it abundantly clear not to click on your own ads or ask others to do so. But what about practices a publisher may not purposely carry out?
Make sure that ads associated with Google never appear in an unrequested pop-up. Don’t be talked into purchasing traffic for your site that may contain adware.
Respect the Google trademarks. Don’t use any Google trademarks or logos without their consent.
Don’t change the Adsense code. If you’re a pro at html, don’t assume you can add your own code. If you’re new to html, simply copy and paste the offered code. Don’t mess with it. Most people can make their AdSense sites veritable cash cows! Free Secret Adsense Book at http://www.honestreview.info/adsense/index.htm
Provide a good environment for advertisers and a positive user experience. Don’t try to be deceptive in any way. Google’s rules may sound strict, but believe me, protecting the integrity of the Google Adsense Program is in your best interest as well as Google’s. After all, a positive, honest Google Adsense program means more money for all of us.
