SEO – Does Buying a Keyword Rich Domain Will Increase Your Se Ranking?

If you just start a new online business it may be a good idea to buy a keyword rich

domain name. If you go that way make sure your new keyword rich domain remains easy

to remember to the visitors. However if you already have an established domain with

a good link popularity (A Google Page Rank of 5) forget about this idea and use what

you already have.

I believe that the content on that domain is more important and the links pointing

to it have great value.

Buying a keyword rich domain may help your ranking in the search engines because it

allows you to include the keyword from your page content in the site URL. When other

web sites are linking to you, the anchor text of those links are influenced

by the keywords in the url Thus giving you a better chance of ranking highly.

In my opinion buying a keyword rich domain name makes a significant difference.

I have several client domains that rank in the top 5-10 results with no Google Page

Rank and without any links pointing to their websites. I’m almost 100% sure that it

is mainly due to the fact that the domain exactly matches the search query.

However Keep in mind that it is just one of many factors the search engines are

using to rank websites.

So Yes. Incorporating a keyword rich domain in your SEO campaign can be helpful but

it is just a very small part of a proper Search Engine Optimization Campaign.

Never put all your eggs in the same bag!

To Your Success!

Will Buying Incoming Links Increase Your Page Rank?

The same thing happens everyday on the web with new sites. You take a lot of time designing a new website. You dump in a lot of hard work. You bring the site online for good, put the link to it in a few places, and hold your breath. You’re waiting for it to take off, but it just seems to be stumbling. You try everything you can, but nothing is making enough difference. So you bite the bullet and buy a backlink from a high page rank site in hopes of gaining both traffic and a higher position in the search results.

To see if this tactic still works, let’s look at Google’s standpoint. According to Matt Cutts, Google is absolutely against buying backlinks, as this defeats the purpose of a backlink as a “vote” for another site since it is paid.

In the past, Google has not been able to cut down effectively on this practice. They employ a lot of very smart people and they are getting better at it. While they may not find out today of purchased links they are determined and it’s just a matter of time.

There are 3 possible solutions if you really want to purchase links to help out your site, depending on your goals.

One solution is to purchase a backlink from a site that does not normally do this or would not be suspected. This means avoid link brokers, and avoid the sites that blatantly advertise that they sell links. Those are easy to figure out. I don’t recommend this method, but some webmasters are doing it with success at the moment.

The second solution is for those wanting mainly the traffic from a high page rank site of the same topic. The best way here is to have a rel=”nofollow” put in the link itself so Google will not count the link as a backlink and thus no possible penalty. If you want the visitors directly from the link, then this is by far the best way to go.

The third solution is to join a valid link exchange system (definitely not a link farm) and naturally exchange with other sites which is not easy, but it’s playing by the rules.

Buying links to help your search engine ranking in this day and age of Google running the show is pretty risky and there has been numerous examples of buying links directly lowering a site’s ranking. Buying links as a quick way to boost your site’s ranking has really become one of those outdated methods for those who want to remain in a good position once you’ve worked so hard to achieve it.

Competing With The Big Dogs In Social Media Buying

The buzz surrounding Social Networking sites may cause media buyers to shy away from allocating budget to the social networking platforms. Those who are just now getting on board may be “showing up late to the party”, while the current advertisers are experiencing disappointing click-through rates. Despite the mixed reviews, there is still plenty of opportunity to become profitable through media buys involving social networks. The opportunity especially exists for local advertisers, and when it comes to advertising on social networks, local advertisers have the home field advantage.

When purchasing media, it is important to ask partners “what are your users’ demographics?” Every media buy should contain a clear and concise definition of the target audience. Let’s face it, reaching your target audience is the most crucial factor in any internet marketing endeavor, and targeting the right users based on their specific interest or behavior is critical in media buying.

We all know that users of social networking sites, such as Facebook and MySpace, offer up their demographics through their user profile. This allows media buyers to reach audiences based on their specific interests, activities, relationship status, and of course, location. The plethora of user information eliminates the trial and error process of finding that “sweet spot” which is all too common in most media buys. This influx of segmented information enables a more time and cost effective purchase of media.

Historically, Social Networks have been synonymous with branding. Recently, the bigger brand advertisers are straying from social networks in search of niche specific sites. These niche sites are believed to create a more “meaningful” view for big brands. This shift leaves the door wide open for smaller, more localized advertisers to fill the void in Leaderboards and Skyscrapers. Local businesses recognize the fact that they need an online presence, and social networks extend the chance for these smaller businesses to get in the game.

Facebook, for example, does a phenomenal job of allowing advertisers the dynamic feature of targeting geographically. Local businesses can explore creative steps in order to reach consumers, while playing an active role in the community of wall postings, groups, and RSS newsfeeds. Of course, results will vary on a case by case basis and ads certainly need to be tested; but this obviously brings local advertising to the national websites.

Not only does advertising on social media give local shops the national appeal, it also maximizes ROI while allowing advertisers full control of budget. The average cost for one network cable spot ranges from $3,000 to $5,000 and the average cost for one premium network cable spot is $10,000. How much exposure could the same amount provide a local advertiser on a Social Site? Facebook’s Social Ads are priced on either a CPC or CPM basis – advertisers are able to choose a daily budget and a maximum CPC or CPM, and there is no set cost for these advertisements.

Social media consumers are often seeking specific information in a low-pressure environment. Studies show that contextual advertising can increase a campaign’s ROI in this medium. Facebook’s users are accustomed to this type of informative content which can turn casual browsers into serious buyers. Although these social sites may be the future of local advertising, it is still important for local businesses to spread advertising dollars across the old marketing mix. Using the newspaper, radio, or magazines to point consumers to their site will spike interest. This multi-channel marketing will also enable a more branded appeal while pumping up traffic to stores, and will ultimately lead to increased sales.

No matter if you are looking to purchase media for a local bookstore, bike shop, dating service, or night club, social networks offer the opportunity for local advertisers to roll with the big dogs and score the big sales!

Buying Man Made Diamonds

Jewelries (joias) are an important addition to the attire and a wonderful complement to the over-all beauty of a person. They are not just mere objects worn to embellish the looks of a person; rather, they contribute substantially to the completeness of your personality. There is nothing like wearing ornaments to a special occasion and inviting eyeballs towards you. Indeed, it is the jewelries (joias) that set you apart from others when you are in midst of a looks-conscious people. Among all jewelries worn around world, diamond jewelries have always been the best and most attractive one.

In the last few years, consumers have shifted their choice from natural diamond jewelries to man-made diamond jewelries (joias). The diamond jewelries market is literally crammed with several companies who offer different designs of diamond jewelries. However, there are a few names the industry reckons with, such as ASHA, CARAT, Russian Brilliants and Diamond Nexus Labs. Every company has its own policies for returns, exchanges and guarantees which are different from others. Hence, it is only imperative that the buyers check out the product specifications, features, terms and conditions before buying them. There are certain aspects that you have to take into consideration before buying diamond jewelries (joias):

Returns:

Different diamond jewelry companies have different policies with regard to returns of the purchased items (joias). Take a look at the following refund policies of some established companies:

Russian Brilliants – 7 days refund policy (minus shipping costs).

ASHA – 14 days from the day you receive your shipment.

CARAT – 30 days refund policy provided you notify them within 7 days of that you intend to return the shipment. Since this company is based in china, you will have to return your purchase to China.

Diamond Nexus Labs – It offers 30 days to inspect and enjoy your jewelry (joias). Moreover, this company, unlike CARAT and ASHA, allows returning your purchase even after using it.

Besides, both ASHA and CARAT will charge a 10% restocking fee. Incase you have bought the items from CARAT which is based in China, you have to deal with the customs. Further, any queries at your end can be answered only during Chinese business hours, i.e., when it is midnight in the USA. While Russian Brilliants (joias) are vague about their returns policies, Diamond Nexus Labs is the most liberal and has an extensive return policy with no hassles whatsoever.

Exchanges:

This is very important point to take note of. You should know the exchange policies of different diamond manufactures before buying diamond jewelry (joias). This is because some companies have strict exchange policies and procedures; hence, exchanging their products can give you a nightmarish experience. Let us know a bit about the exchange procedures of some of the leading names:

ASHA – It does not provide phone customer service. So, any questions must be submitted via email. However, it allows 14 days to its customers to submit an exchange.

CARAT – It has a phone customer service department to answer your queries. As far as the exchange is concerned, you have only 7 days to think and decide if you want an exchange or not. On the top of it, it will deduct a 10% restocking fee incase you want an exchange to take place.

Russian Brilliants – It has a phone customer service department to take care of the after-sales queries of the customers and it also allows you an exchange within 7 days.

Diamond Nexus Labs – It is the most liberal of them all. No fuss about processing your exchange which is free of charge. No hassle or re-stocking fee. What is more is it allows you a 30-day period to think and decide if you want to exchange it or not.

Ring Resizing:

Resizing might occur because of the weight loss or gain or even due to an error in size selection. Each of the companies that manufactures synthetic diamond ring (joias) has different policy regarding resizing the ring. Russian Brilliants does it for a small fee whereas CARAT has no clear resizing policy. Diamond Nexus resize your ring within 30 days of the purchase and free of charge. ASHA recommends its customers to resize their ring (joias) by any local dealer and if this is not possible then it will do it for you; however, it will charge $35 to size white gold and $55 for platinum.

Lifetime Warranty:

Customer service policies by different companies vary from each other and so does the lifetime warranty. Russian Brilliants and CARAT offer a lifetime warranty on their lab-created diamond products (joias) against color changes. ASHA has repelled its lifetime warranty offer of late claiming that some customers were trying to return products even though the damage had taken place due to customers` or jewelers` negligence. Diamond Nexus guarantees a free replacement in the event of any fade, discolor, damage of Diamond Nexus Labs gemstone. Moreover, it also ensures a free replacement if the stone (joias) is ever lost from its setting.
