You are being decieved through Google!!

Do you know that Google is losing its credibility and many websites are exploiting Google?
When is the last time you Googled something? It would be an hour ago or at most five hours ago, we use Google everyday to find the information we are looking for, either it is related to education, fashion, glamour or news. Google is very useful website as it allows us to search and extract the relevant data from thousands of websites. We trust blindly on the results shown by Google and in our perception the websites that comes on the front page of Google search are the most famous and mostly visited sites, which is true in many cases.

What if I tell you that the websites you see on the first page of Google are not the best and mostly visited sites? Will you believe this? You will say that I am jealous of Google or I have lost my mind. Many of us uses Google to find online shopping sites and we do find results and those websites are indeed very good, so we stuck to them and believe that these are the best sites and we should visit them only.  If I tell you that these websites are not the best and mostly visited, but they are ranked on the front page of Google by the effort of marketing teams of those websites? Majority of us will not believe as we all have full faith in Google that their results are unbiased. Google is unbiased but still there are different methods through which marketing team of different websites manipulate Google crawlers and put their websites on front page of Google.  Through Google, different companies are influencing our decisions, this is another way of advertising, but majority of people don’t aware about this method of advertising. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the name given to this method of advertising. SEO consists of different modes and techniques which are using by many search engine optimizers so that their website can rank at the front page of Google. So whenever you search or inquire anything in Google you will only find those websites at front pages which are well optimized by their search engine optimizers.

There are 99% chances that there are better websites and links available for your query at the next pages of Google, but most of us don’t bother to see the results of next pages and remain unaware of the useful websites available. For example if you have to buy a cell phone online, you will write “buy cell phones” in Google query box and by clicking you will get lots of search engine results pages related to your cell phone and maybe by checking first few web links you will get your desired cell phone. But there is a possibility that the similar cell phone available at other website with low price and extra features, if you have checked other pages of Google then you might have gotten better deal, so by spending five more minutes you would have got better cell phone.

So next time you search on Google make sure to see the results of next pages as well, you will be surprised to find better websites there than on first pages. Try it just for checking and then you will realize. SEO is widely used by Online Shopping Site because their business depends on these techniques.
