When someone clicks on them, you make a percentage of the click price paid to Google by the advertiser. How much? Nobody really knows as Google doesn’t release the information.

There are ways you can really make Adsense pay on your site. The first tip is to consider whether you should build a site on the subject in question. You should do this by searching for the phrase you are interested in. Now pull up sites from the results. Do you see Google ads? If so, do they seem to match up with the subject of the search? If not, you should move along because ads need to tie into the site or nobody is going to be clicking. No clicks means no revenues for you!

The second tip is Adsense placement on your site. People read from top to bottom and left to right. Guess where you should put the Adsense code? The top right corner is the first place to start. That isn’t all. You should also place the code in between the paragraphs of the content on your site. Readers will then definitely see them as they read through the content.

Can you really make money on Adsense? Absolutely. The amount you make depends on how many sites you build and the traffic you bring in.
