What I’m about to share with you in this article is going to be “Game Changer” if you implement these marketing tips into your daily list of activities, never again will you be able to say” “I do not know where to promote my site”.

Marketing Tip One – Google Search

 If you do not know where to promote your site just do a Google search for some keywords of your blog/website or program to se where other people are promoting, and just do what they are doing! For example, if you want to do Google search for some keywords on the personal powerline website to see what kind of ranking the site is getting in Google. Let assume that you use the keywords “Unlimited Daily Cash Payments” your search result may be a long list, and you will see how and where people were promoting their personal powerline website.

 Now that you know what to do, here’s how you do it!

- Do a Google search of the name of any program
- ”Right click” on the link for each search result and open it in a new tab. This way you do not lose your main search page.
- Take a quick look at the page that opens and see if it is a place that you can promote your site or program!
- If it is, copy the URL to that page and paste it into Microsoft word document. It’s best if you paste it into Microsoft word, because when you go back later all you have to do is hold down on you control key (ctrl) and click on the URL and it opens in a new window.
- So you would go through all the search result on the 5 – 10 pages, and copy all the URL’s that look like they could be a good place to promote and paste them into your Microsoft word document.
- After you get your URL list compiled, go back over each one to take a close look to see if this is a place you can use to promote. Keep the good ones, delete the bad ones.
- Before you promote at any site make sure you check to see if there are ay rules, and make sure you follow them.

Every different program you do a search on will result in many different places you can promote by using this marketing technique you will build a huge list of marketing resources that are 100% free!. Of course this marketing technique should not be only source of promoting, but one of many!

Marketing Tip Two – Social Networking and Blogging
 Social networking and blogging has become a very popular form of promoting, and it’s one that should not be over looked. There are many different social networks out there like SWOM, facebook, myspace, youtube, NIng, twitter, just to name a few. I recommend you join all these social networking sites. These are great places to meet new people, and share your business!

Some Tips For Posting in Social Networks

- Spend some time creating your “MY PAGE” (your profile).
- Read the rules for each social network you join to be sure what you can and can’t do. Keep your message/post short, and to the point. Your post can not be a blatant ad for your business. If it is, you will be banned.
If you have any special skills or mentoring that you can offer or offer people a free product download or become your friend and email you for a free product if you have any. Always offer your help if possible, tell people how they can benefit from what you have to offer. It’s about building relationships.
- The main thing that you want to accomplish is to build a list of prospects (friends), in many of the social networks you can email your friends. But, what I recommend is to give away something free by clicking on your link. You can give away free ebook, software, that way you collect their names and email for your own list and then you can market to them anytime you want.
- Spend some time looking for and joining other people’s  list (becoming their friend first), because the more friends you have the larger presence you have in the network.

 What is a blog and how does one use it to market one’s business? A blog (call it a mini website if you like) is your own space on the internet where you can post things, and people all over the world can have access to it. Blogs can be created for so many things but in this write up, we are looking at blogs created for the sole aim of promoting your business.

 If you must effectively market your business on social networking sites like SWOM, facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube etc. it is better to use blog than a full website. Even big organizations which have websites have recognized the power of the blog and are creating blogs for their brands.

 Facebook is about the most interactive social networking site on the net with millions of daily users. You can market your blog i.e. promote your business by linking it to facebook.

- Create a facebook account for your blog. Note that this is not your personal facebook account but that of your blog.
- Create a fans page or group for your blog on facebook account. Continue to increase your friends by daily additions. Quite soon, others will begin to add your blog’s facebook account as their friends, especially if the blog is on hot issues.
- As soon as you post something on your blog. Go to the blog’s facebook account and link the post to the profile page.
- Click on the “link” icon on the profile page and enter the web address of your blog. This will bring out an intro to the last post with its corresponding photographs. When you have chosen the photograph you need, click on “share”. The post will be distributed among all your friends and fans as news feeds.
- You can promote your page with a facebook advert. It’s not too costly since it is pay per click.
