Is Optimizing Your Website for Bing will benefit you in future?

Is Optimizing Your Website for Bing will benefit you in future?

Is Optimizing Your Website for Bing will benefit you in future?

As many a blog entry will go over, there’s been a good amount of buzzing around the launch of Microsoft’s new Bing search engine. Moreover, there’s been a well-brought-up quantity of rumor on what the growing popularity of Bing — along with their recent agreement with Yahoo — will mean in regards to Search Engine Optimization.

There is lot of rumor in internet that Bing is stealing market share from Google. Question keep on buzzing in our mind

1. What if Bing, after the initial buzz around their launch upland, begins to steadily challenge Google’s long standing dominance both in market share and SEO focus?

2. What can I do now to start making sure my site is well optimized for Bing so that I’m not playing catch up a year from now when all of my competitors are ranking well within both Google and Bing?

In response to the first question, what seems to be the common theme in most responses to this by industry experts is that Google for a long time now hasn’t had a realistic challenger to its search dominance, allowing them to focus on side projects such as the recently announced Chrome OS, upcoming Google Wave, and Cloud applications such as Google Documents.

What you’ll most likely see as Bing becomes a stronger competitor in the realm of Search, is that Google will begin — as it has already with the May launch of their “Show Options” feature — to release features to better compete with some of Bing’s advertised advantages over Google.

While many of these changes will be designed to enhance and better organize results, many believe the recent competition imposing by Bing will benefit visitors looking for relevant results, as well as sites looking to have them found for relevant queries.

In response to the second question, the answer is to continue to focus on the same SEO best practices you’ve been focusing on.  The type of SEO work and tasks webmasters need to perform to be successful in Bing haven’t changed — all of the skills and knowledge that webmasters have invested in previously applies fully today with Bing. Moreover, investments in solid, reputable SEO work made for Bing will bring similar improvements in your website’s page rank in Google and Yahoo! as well.

SEO task you should do for Bing optimization for your website.

* Unique, keyword-oriented Titles and Meta Descriptions for ever page of your site

* Keyword-oriented, clean and well-structured URLs

* Singular themes per page with keyword-oriented content in reference to your page’s theme

* Submission of a well structured and relevant XML sitemap to Bing’s Webmaster Center

* Submission of your site to Bing using Bing’s Ping service

There still certain factors while starting SEO service for Bing search engine such as the quality of your inbound links, along with other standard SEO best practices play significant roles.

While the same SEO best practices will assist your site’s ranking within Bing, some of these items — according to initial studies — seem to play a greater role with Bing than they do with Google.  Meta Descriptions is one example. Currently, Bing places more importance on the quality of your Meta Descriptions than Google does.

What this means for some sites is that focusing on these same SEO practices, with a tighter focus on the quality of your Meta Descriptions and quality, unique content can help even sites reliant on longer-tail searches be more visible, due to different user behavior on Bing.  This is true as well with a more local-focus being presented by Bing. It is reported that Bing is weighting local results in a more aggressive manner than Google.

Of course, with Bing being relatively new, things could change as the competition with Google heats up. The advent of new features and options — some of which will focus on micro formats, RDF and other advanced SEO practices — is sure to keep this space dynamic as well.

Learn Affiliate Marketing Training Tips Getting Started Online Clickbank

Learn Affiliate Marketing Training Tips Getting Started Online Clickbank

Learn Affiliate Marketing Training Tips Getting Started Online Clickbank

1. Your first step should be finding a great affiliate marketing company. I recommend clickbank to everyone for a couple of reasons! Reason number 1 their affiliate commissions are very very high which is a very good thing. Why are they high you might be asking yourself? Here is the answer to that question? They only promote informational products, products that can be downloaded instantly after payment is made from the vendor directly to you. Everyone is happy it don’t cost the vendor anything for giving the customer access to their product. So you being the affiliate can make some great commissions referring paying customers to that vendors products. Sometimes upwards of 0 depending on which products your choosing to market! They can afford to pay up to 75 percent commission for the simple fact that they wouldn’t of gotten the sale in the first place, if it wasn’t for you the savvy affiliate.

Clickbank has thousands of vendor’s with a ton of great products which you the affiliate, can make a ton of money with! They even tell you which products are selling the best by the gravity. Which basically tells you how many different affiliate’s, referred a paying customer to this vendor the higher the number the better. Clickbank has paid out over a Billion dollars in commissions to date, and growing each and every day which means money is definitely being made. I recommend anyone interested in Affiliate Marketing sign up for a free account with them today they come highly recommended from me and 1000’s of other profitable Affiliate Marketers!

2.Your 2nd step I would recommend after you sign up with Clickbank would be to find a couple of products to promote. look at the sales pages, would this be a product I would take out my wallet and purchase? If the answer to this question is yes. Then by all means start promoting it. Clickbank will give you your own personal nickname, that you will come up with when you sign up for free to become an affiliate! This is your personal link that you use that Clickbank can track so you get your much deserved Affiliate commissions. Play around with a couple of your favorite vendors see which ones are profitable and are making you the most sales. When you find the ones that are making your wallets or purses heavier lol run with it. Market the heck out of them! Make that money and rinse, wash, and repeat. Build on your affiliate marketing success and keep pumping out those articles, write more classifieds, post in forums, build a website it’s really not very hard at all to build a website. Build on your success!

3. Finding free places to promote your Affiliate Products- Your next step I would tell you is to make some classified ads, for whatever products you are promoting. My favorites are U.S Free Ads, Craigslist, and Kijiji that is the classifieds owned by Ebay. There are many more you can use, these are just my personal favorites in that order. Most will allow you to place your affiliate link in your classified ad or website link so you can refer a paying customer. And make that money tip: Use a good title on each ad- this is very important! Because when the search engines index your classified ad your goal should be to get to the first page of Google for whatever your title is.

4. Write informative Articles- Their are many great Article websites out their such as Ezinearticles, Searchwarp, Ideamarketers, and many more and it is free to post an article. The idea here is to write a review or an informative article on whatever your promoting. For example Ezinearticles requires a minimum of 250 words an article which is very easy to do! Some of them don’t even have a minimum word count. But the more popular ones do! Write something short, sweet, and to the point using the same principles as stated above, get your article to the top pages of the Search Engines! These articles will let you put your affiliate link in your Bio box at the end of the article. Ezinearticles is an exception to this rule you have to link to a classified you made previously a blog, or Squidoo lens. They don’t allow Affiliate links but the traffic is well worth it. So write away new affiliates. Tip: Hubpages, is my favorite article submission site they are one of the top 200 websites in the world so they have tons of targeted traffic. You can incorporate Google Adwords into all your hubs giving you another source of income. And my favorite part is there is no waiting to get your hubs approved, as long as there unique and written by you!

5. This is a cheap secret to get you off the ground and running! Have you ever heard of Bum Marketing? I first stumbled upon Bum Marketing a little while back, and let me tell you I am certainly glad I did! It teaches you how to grab first page listings on Google, Msn, and Yahoo. Basically all of the big search engines, but primarily Google. This system is taught by Travis Sago and really works great! I have a paid membership to U.S free ads which is only .99 month to post unlimited classifieds. You can add HTML, Affiliate links, Website links, your ads basically look like mini websites their pretty sharp! And what you do with the bum marketing system is research keywords that have to do with whatever your promoting.

I use Google Adwords for this. Use a Highly Searched keyword phrase, with little competition. When I say little competition I mean phrases that have 50,000 listings or less! Use that phrase in your title on your u.s free ads premium membership and you are almost guaranteed a first page listing for that phrase on Google each and every time. If your an affiliate you can probably smell the potential. I make quite a few sales doing this, so I figured I would share it with my viewers. If your interested in checking U.S free ads out I have placed a link for you here.

6. I have only scratched the surface, but these tips will get your Home Based Affiliate Marketing business off the ground. Below you will find some links to some programs. Optimized Searching

Optimized Searching

Optimized Searching means use of various techniques to improve a web site’s ranking in the search engines and thus attract more visitors.  URL Optimization refers to the wide variety of strategies used to make your website more appealing to the search engines in the hopes of drawing free traffic to your site.Getting free search engine traffic is often called organic traffic, or natural search traffic. You don’t pay for it, and if you have the right mindset, you can continue to get large volumes of natural search traffic for years to come. Unfortunately, when you first launch a website, you probably won’t have thousands of visitors pounding down your door, eating up your bandwidth, just to get a look at your content. When it comes to getting visitors to your website, you’ve got a few choices – two main ones include either paying for your traffic through pay-per-click advertising programs like Google Ad words or Yahoo Search Marketing, or waiting around for free, organic traffic to find you through the search engines. However, if all you do is launch your site and then sit around waiting for visitors, it could take weeks or months before the major search engines figure out that you’re even there at all, let alone send you any free traffic.

Effective Optimization

Conduct keyword research using a reputable keyword tool. This step is crucial and often overlooked because it’s not as fun as building a site.
Perform on-site optimization – make sure you have meta tags and heading tags with your keywords incorporated into them. Use the right anchor text when linking within your site and write your content with your keywords in mind.
Perform off-site optimization – Jumpstart your link building campaign by submitting your site to directories and bookmarking it. Write articles and press releases and submit these frequently. Be sure to contribute at do follow forums and add comments on do follow blogs. And remember that link building is an on-going process.

Overall URL Structure

Limit the number of directory levels from the domain name to the file, avoid unnecessary folders
Limit the overall length of the URL, avoid unnecessary words and characters
Use keyphrases and real words – avoid shortened or meaningless words like /prod/ and /og/
Avoid session IDs and other session based parameters in URLs
Avoid having more than 2-3 name/value pairs in dynamic URL strings
Rewrite dynamic URLs into ‘clean’ or static URLs wherever possible

SEO concepts

1. What is SEO?
SEO, which stands for Search Engine Optimization, refers to the wide variety of strategies used to make your website more appealing to the search engines in the hopes of drawing free traffic to your site. Getting free search engine traffic is often called organic traffic, or natural search traffic.

This is where SEO comes in. You need to design your site and then promote it so that the search engines know what it’s about.

2. What is Keyword Research?

Searchers use keywords to find information on the internet. The keyword or key phrase tells the search engine what kind of results to bring back for you. Search engines scour the internet, recording the information they find on various sites around the web. When building a website, choosing the keywords and phrases to focus on is extremely important. You want to target the keywords people are actively searching.

3. What is LSI?

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is one specific algorithm that the search engines use to evaluate site content through related keywords. In order to score high on the search engine rankings, you’ve used this exact phrase repeatedly throughout your text, without using any related phrases, For example, a key phrase like “SEO tools” could also be written as “SEO products”, “SEO courses” or “Search engine optimization eBooks”, depending on what your content is about.

4. What is On-Site and Off-Site Optimization?

SEO techniques can be broken down into two general categories – onsite and offsite. Both of these will benefit your rankings, so it’s worth your time to address them both when building and promoting your website. On-site SEO includes the specific actions you take on your WebPages to increase your search engine position. Off-site SEO techniques are the actions you take outside of your WebPages to increase your search engine position. Backlinks are one of the most important strategies in the offsite SEO toolbox.

5. What is On-Site Optimization Details?

Meta tags are snippets of code you can include on your website to give the search engines more information on what your site is about. Visitors to your webpage won’t be able to see this information, but the search engine programs that scour your site will appreciate the tip off.

6. What are Meta Tags?

The most popular tags for SEO purposes are title, keyword and description tags, all of which provide more information to the search engines about your site’s content and what search terms its most relevant to.

Title Tag
Keyword Meta Tags
Description Meta Tags
Heading Tags

7. What is Anchor Text?

Anchor text is one of the most important factors you must understand in order to earn good rankings from the search engines. Specifically, anchor text refers to the linked text that’s displayed in place of a web address – the text you click on to be taken to a new web page.

8. What is Off-Site Optimization Details?

Off-site techniques are just as important in getting your site ranked well in the search engines results. For the most part, off-site SEO techniques revolve around the links that point to your site from other WebPages. These links back to your site are commonly called backlinks.

The following types of back links offer the most benefit in terms of off-site search engine optimization:

Links from sites with a high Google Page Rank
Links from sites with similar content
Link extensions matter
The number of links to your site
Link building is hardly a precise art, as there are a number of additional factors that the search engines take into account when measuring the strength of the backlinks to your site.

In addition, search engine algorithms change frequently, so the factors they give weight to now could change without warning. However, it is safe to say that building up good backlinks from other quality sites is a sound strategy when it comes to search engine optimization, and will remain so for the foreseeable future. For more details, click here

9. What is Directory Submissions?

Submitting your website to both free and paid directory sites is a great way to increase the backlinks to your webpage. Directories are compilation sites that list links to all sorts of sites. Getting your site listed in targeted directories that relate to the theme of your website will likely be seen as a premium by the search engines. In addition, you might even receive some traffic from them.

10. What is Page Rank (PR)

Page Rank is a method of ranking individual web pages by Google and indicates the importance of that web page. It shows more people visits the particular page because of the quality content or information. Page Rank can be identified using tools.
Some pages show “No Page Rank information available” because either Google bot haven’t crawled the particular page or Google has spammed the page. A corrective action can be taken to make your web page been crawled by the bot.

URL optimization will promote web site and have your potential customers find your web site.

How To Write Effective Google Adwords Ads

How To Write Effective Google Adwords Ads

In this article I show you my top twelve tips for creating effective Google AdWords ads.

I’ve been testing the Google pay per click advertising system for a while, with much success. These tips will help you create ads that generate higher click through rates, and lower cost per click.

1. Target The Right Audience

Target the right audience by selecting the language and countries that you want to target. For example, I exclude all countries where English is not understood by a large percentage of the population.

2. Refine Your Keywords

Use square brackets “[...]” around your keyword/s.

For example:

[google]
[google adwords]

Your ad will only show when the search is for the exact keyword phrase you have included within the brackets.

The ad will not show for searches that include other keywords. In our example, this would be for searches such as “google search,” or “google news.”

3. Test Multiple Ads Simultaneously

Always test 2 (or more) ads simultaneously. This is what is known in the print industry as an A/B split test.

Find out which one produces the higher click through ratio. Then replace the weaker performing ad with a new one.

Continue this process in your never-ending quest to get the highest click through ratio possible.

4. Track The Return-On-Investment Of Each Ad

Google tracks the click through ratio of each ad. But it doesn’t track the conversion ratio.

Use a special tracking link in each ad to track its conversion ratio. For example, you could attach each ad with an affiliate tracking system link. Make sure each ad produces a return-on-investment.

5. Include Targeted Keywords In Your Ad

Include the targeted keywords in the headline and the description of the ad. Google will highlight searched keywords in bold in the ad.

When people scan search results, they look for the keywords they have entered. Searched keywords highlighted in bold certainly help to catch the user’s attention. For this reason, ads with searched keywords usually perform better than ones without.

6. Sell The Benefits

Spell out one or more major benefit in your ad. For example, make more money, stay younger looking, lose weight, get healthier, live happier, etc.

7. Include Attention Grabbing Words In Your Ad

Start your headline with an attention grabbing word. For example, “Free:, New:, Sale:, etc.” Make sure you stay within Google’s editorial guidelines.

8. Use Words That Provoke Emotion & Enthusiasm

Use power words or call-to-action phrases that provoke emotion, enthusiasm and a response.

Here are some examples of power words:

free, cheap, sale, special offer, time limited offer, tricks, you, tips, enhance, discover, fact, learn, at last, free shipping, etc.

Here are some examples of call-to-action phrases:

* Buy Today – Save 50%
* Download Free Trial Now
* Sale Ends Tomorrow

Make sure the phrase specific to your business, otherwise Google may reject the phrase.

9. Sell Your USP (Unique Selling Proposition)

What makes your product or service better, or different, from the competition? Spell them out in your ad.

For example, one of Amazon.com’s first taglines was “Earth’s Biggest Bookstore.” That’s a powerful USP!

10. Link To Relevant Landing Pages

If an ad is for a specific product or service, create a landing page for the ad. Include relevant and useful information to convert the customer. Generally, a well designed landing page will almost always convert more visitors than if you simply sent the visitor to the home page.

11. Remove Common Words

Remove common words, such as “a, an, in, on, it, of, etc.” Remove every word that does not absolutely need to be in the ad. Make every word count.

12. Deter Freebie Hunters

Deter freebie hunters by including the price of the product or service at the end of the ad. This will improve your overall conversion ratio and lower your average customer acquisition cost.

This may reduce your click through ratio, but that’s OK. After all, you’re not trying to target every body, only potential customers. In most cases, freebie hunters will never become paying customers.

Conclusion

Remember that advertising is a never-ending series of tests. Always track your ads. Never stop testing different keywords and ads to improve your conversion ratio and lower your customer acquisition cost.

Advertising in the Google AdWords advertising system works. It may not necessarily produce as many visitors as Overture, but the click through cost is usually lower.

Optimizing For Different Search Engines!

Optimizing For Different Search Engines!

Optimizing for Different Search Engines!

Many times in the web site optimization process we all seem to forget that there are three major search engines we should consider. We all understand that Google is the leader when a person thinks of search engines and the term “Google It” has become a household phrase. Yahoo has acquired about 25% of the market and some reports that MSN has earned from 10-15% of the market. Even though MSN’s share of the market is less than the other engines, the users of MSN are truly loyal.

The algorithms of MSN are different than Google and Yahoo, however, there are some rules in the various engines that are used by all the search engines. Just because you rank well with Google and Yahoo, you may not rank well with MSN because of some of their algorithm differences. If you are optimizing specifically for MSN ranking, make sure you keep an eye on your Google and Yahoo rankings. Ranking on top with MSN will likely be ranked low with Google. For online effectiveness you would be wise to have Google on top and MSN on the bottom. The secret here is to build your site with a proper structures that will work with all the big three of the top search engines.

There are specific reasons why this happens. Even though the web site pages spidered by the different engines may be the same, the different algorithms used by the various engines will produce a different search result. All search engines will spider a page and then index the information into their database….then applies their algorithms to the pages spidered and ranks you accordingly.

It appears on the surface that the MSN algorithm is not as advanced as Google and Yahoo, however, that philosophy will be challenged by some experts. MSN focuses more on the metatags than Google and Yahoo. Even though metatags are important to all engines, MSN places a lot of credence on the use of metatags. There are differences between the search engines in the use of keywords. It appears that MSN places more emphasis on keywords than the competition does.

Even though MSN puts more emphasis on keywords than the other engines, be very cautious of not over doing the keyword aspects on your web site source code as well as the keywords in your content. Make sure you don’t over do the keyword density for the sake of MSN and then be penalized by Google. Make sure you understand the ratio the individual engines are looking for. Anymore than 5-7% ratio with Google may cause you some problems…..over doing it here could even get you banned on Google. If you make one page for Google and another for MSN….Google may nail you for duplicate content. Do some research here and know what your limitations are before you over do anything in this process. There is a balance that must be maintained here, so if you don’t understand this process, seek the help of a professional optimization specialist.

One important point here is that if you build your site to please MSN and stuff your source code and web content with keywords, you may do well with MSN, but be in trouble with Google. However, if your site is optimized correctly you will do well with Google, rank well with Yahoo plus have a respectable position with MSN. You may have to experiment a bit with the proper balance for your site depending on how your site is structured right now.

Well written Meta Tags are an important part of all the different search engine algorithms. Since MSN puts more emphasis on Meta Tags than the other engines, some thought when writing your metatags will help you gain popularity with all the engines. Note….do not keyword stuff your metatags….use some good common sense here…it will save you some bitter consequences later on.

Some advise on the descriptive metatag in your source code is vitally important. This is one of the key factors MSN uses to classify your web site. Leaving this area blank will eliminate any chance of getting recognized by MSN. If you leave the Content=”" section in the source code empty in your site you have just sealed any chance of making any kind of internet presence with the search engines.

Tips On Making Money With Adsense

Tips On Making Money With Adsense

Google is simply becoming a huge company on the web. Adsense is one of the reasons for its long reach. Anyone can make money doing it, but there are some tips you can implement that will make your results much better than others.

What is Adsense? It is a program offered by Google that you and I can use to make money off our sites. When you do a search on Google for something, you will see text advertisements listed at the top of the results and down the right hand column as well. These ads are placed by advertisers who pay Google when someone clicks on the ads. Adsense takes this process a step further. It allows you to place code on your site that lists ads. When someone clicks on them, you make a percentage of the click price paid to Google by the advertiser. How much? Nobody really knows as Google doesn’t release the information.

There are ways you can really make Adsense pay on your site. The first tip is to consider whether you should build a site on the subject in question. You should do this by searching for the phrase you are interested in. Now pull up sites from the results. Do you see Google ads? If so, do they seem to match up with the subject of the search? If not, you should move along because ads need to tie into the site or nobody is going to be clicking. No clicks means no revenues for you!

The second tip is Adsense placement on your site. People read from top to bottom and left to right. Guess where you should put the Adsense code? The top right corner is the first place to start. That isn’t all. You should also place the code in between the paragraphs of the content on your site. Readers will then definitely see them as they read through the content.

Can you really make money on Adsense? Absolutely. The amount you make depends on how many sites you build and the traffic you bring in.

Google Ways To Detect Click Fraud And You WILL Get Caught

Google Ways To Detect Click Fraud And You WILL Get Caught

Google AdSense is a great way to supplement your web site’s income! So what exactly is Google AdSense? This is a program run by Google that pays you per click. You sign up for free, paste a little bit of code on your website and every time someone clicks the links on your site, you get paid a certain amount per click.

Screw Google, Yahoo, MSN & all major search engines Adwords Exposed at http://www.adwordsexposed.com

Some clicks are worth higher than others depending on the “keyword” that the ad is targetting. What does this mean? Google AdSense are “contextual based” ads, meaning that they display the links for people to click on based on the context of your website.

For example if you have a website about “tennis” then the ads Google AdSense will display will be all about tennis. So if the text on your site that Google is basing their AdSense ads on is for “tennis balls”, then the keyword phrase “tennis balls” may be paying higher per click than “tennis racket”.

Here are a few tips to get better earnings with Google AdSense:

1. Don’t make your ads look like ads! People are so “banner blind” now that they’ll skim right over your AdSense ads if you make them look too much like actual ads. By removing the background and the border of your ads and making them blend in with your own site’s background, it will help your sales tremendously!

2. Don’t click your own links! It may be tempting to earn that potential .03 for yourself but in the long run it’s not worth it! Google has ways to detect “click fraud” and you WILL get caught and you’ll forfeit all of your earnings thus far.

3. Put your ads close to your content! Don’t put your content way up at the top and then put your AdSense ads waaaay down at the bottom. You won’t get very many click throughs. Make sure your web content is actually integrated with your ads.

4. Have relevant keywords on your site! If your site is about “web site traffic” and you just keep mentioning the word “traffic” by itself, your Google AdSense ads may display ads for rush hour traffic, or traffic jams. Which has nothing to do with your website. Keep your ads relevant by giving your content good, thorough keywords.

If you just apply these simply and effective tips, you WILL see an increase in your Google AdSense revenue! While it’s best not to put all your eggs in one basket and have AdSense as your only income earner, it is definitely a good way to make a nice little supplemental income on your website!

The search engines prosper upon content material and back links. Without the two elements a web page is dead!

Keyword density is among the factors which is used to optimize an online site. Keyword density identifies the number of times a particular word or phrase is used with regards to the sum of the number of words within the page. Keyword density is the measure of how many times a keyword shows up when compared to the remaining textual content in that zone. The zones consist of: title, meta keywords, meta description, plain content (text), h1, h2, h3, bold, italics, underlined and domain name. Search engines like google evaluate the written text for pertinent keywords and phrases, among other considerations, plus rank the web page accordingly.

Sites which get a ranking close to the top in their niches are likely to possess excellent keywords and phrases located through the entire web site, but that is only one component of this formula. The very best websites also have a lot extra going for them, such as outstanding content, great meta data in addition to a good number of inward bound links all relative to the material on the webpage. Sites which might be new and are only starting must target acquiring incoming links. This is part of what exactly Google uses to rank sites within search results.

Back link building is an continuing process in Search engine optimization. Links to your website from other sites gives google bots more “food” to munch on. Link popularity refers to the number of back links a web site obtains coming from outside sites but does not take into consideration the actual level of quality along with context of inbound links. In addition to link popularity, the age of an internet site and the domain name of your website play a role in the rankings.

Ranking on page one of Google will not happen overnight. SEO is difficult to master, however, utilizing innovative new programs, new SEO techniques and tools will greatly improve your success and therefore should be thoroughly investigated.
