How to Improve Your Page Rank and Get Your Website Rank Better in the Search Engine

Your website is ranked by Google according to the popularity. How Google actually tracks your popularity is through the number of inbound links your website gets. The more inbound links you have, the more popular your site are thought to be and thus the better is your ranking.

These methods are some that I use to propel one of my internet product review site to the top spot of Google search and fourth spot on Yahoo search

Here are some of the ways you can increase your inbound links

1) Link Swapping: You can actually search for sites that cater to your niche and then request to do link swapping with the site owner. The owner put your link on his site and you put his link on your site.

2) Purchase Keyword Targeted Domain: If possible, you should purchase your domain name as close to the keyword you are targeting. This can help your website to appear on some keywords related to your domain name

3) Submission of Site To Directories: One way of increasing the number of inbound links is through submitting your site to various directories of your niche. You can also submit your site to blog or forums as well.

4) Article Writing: This is by far one of my favourite methods of increasing inbound links because I love to write articles and share what I know with other people out there. So I submit all my articles to various article directories to increase my inbound links.

You can try to do the above to your website and see if it works. It has worked wonder for me and I am sure you can do it too
