Not really. FB is not internet marketer friendly.
From my experience FB users view marketing as spamming. if anything try posting 1 business related post daily.
Perhaps you can set up a Fan Page. That would be the best way to reach like-minded people.
Twitter is your internet marketing tool. 140 chars and you’re allowed 1000 tweets a day or a set amount within an hour or two.
