How to market on Facebook instead of Selling?

Facebook is far by nunn the most phenomenal networking platform and according to Alexa it out ranked Youtube & Yahoo in September 2009 sitting right behind Google. People all over the universe are connecting on Facebook to meet and socialize with people. If you are among the smart marketers and you are not on Facebook or using it effectively you are missing out on a Goldmine rush.

In this article you will learn how you can really use facebook and build lasting relationships. If you did not know by now Facebook and other social websites are there to build relationships and not to pitch, or sell your business.

Facebook is a social networking site and you just that (socialize). People don’t want to be bothered with business offers, your . It can be annoying when people first connect with you and the first thing that they do is send their business opportunity. (if you pitching! selling! Stop Now!)

Your primary goal on Facebook is to really connect with people and to genuinely help them out. Its fine to send out marketing messages, just make sure what you are sharing is beneficial to your friends, and stop pitching your business. ADD VALUE! This way People will magnetically be drawn to you and wanting to look at your business offers on their own.

Facebook is one of my marketing strategies and I use it to share blog post, video, with my friends. As you know content is King and this is something that every Network Marketers should really examine and implement.

Another way I use Facebook is when requesting friends would I send them a personal message introducing myself which in my opinion, it eliminates the questions; Who are you? Where do I know you from? By doing this additional step I see an increase in friend acceptance rate and people will want to connect. This will make me stand out and they would know me on a personal note.

I really don’t know why people fail to understand this basic principle and start to implement them it can be very annoying when you meet someone and the first they do is to spam you with their business link.
