I personally dont know much about diamond nexus labs, but I know a ton about diamonds and diamond alternatives. After a quick look at their site, they seem to be misleading people into thinking that they are better than moissanite when in fact they are not. After a little research, they are selling nothing but CZ. I have included a couple links indicating their alleged scam to fool the public into thinking they are selling anything but CZ.
As for a diamond alternative, I partially agree with the previous post. Moissanite I agree with, I have bought a lot for my wife and she actually prefers them over diamonds. They do have more fire and brilliance. As for Asha diamonds, once again… this seems like nothing more than a hyped CZ. I have bought moissanite from many online retailers, as they seem to be about half of what you would find at your mall. Moissanite is always guaranteed for life from charles and colvard, so you can shop with confidence online and you will get a better look for about a third of the cost of a diamond. My favorite online retailer is moissanite-collection.com. My wife has at least six styles from them and her birthday is coming up so it will be seven!

If you like the rings then go for it, it’s your choice what you buy your girl. I have heard of many people getting an engagement ring with a Cubic Zirconia in it because they couldn’t afford a real diamond at the time, but then had it replaced with a real one later on.
If your girl loves you, she will say yes no matter what stone is in the ring, unlike some of the shallow people here on Yahoo! Answers.
Diamond nexus labs stones are not anything special. They are just regular quality cubic zirconia, nothing special done to them at all. They’re just given a nicer name, put in a better setting than most CZs (These are set in gold, while many CZ stones are set in silver, or something entirely fake) If you want a cubic zirconia, there are plenty of places you can get them that haven’t been marked up and falsely advertised.
Here are some articles, and postings (With peoples experiences) you may want to read:http://www.yourgemologist.com/DiamondNex…http://www.yourgemologist.com/ISGForumsB…http://betterthandiamond.com/diamondnexu…http://www.betterthandiamond.com/discuss…
If you are looking for a simulated stone for a ring, because of moral objections to diamond or just cost than I would recommend either going with moissanite or asha:http://www.ashadiamonds.com/http://www.moissaniteco.com
These sites are both owned by the same company, and I have always found them to be very honest and helpful. While Diamond Nexus Labs is certainly not
Cubic Zirconia is crap!! That’s not a precious stone at all, and if a guy proposed to me with cubic zirconia I would be pissed! That is what the rings are made of that you can buy at Walmart for like 6 bucks. How cheap can you get?
If you’re going to propose go for a real diamond. I would rather have a tiny real diamond than a gigantic chunk of cubic zirconia.
I dont see what people are freaking out about..they seem like very materialistic people.
Im having a cubic zirconia wedding set because i dont feel the need for my fiance to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on rings, to me its pointless. Cubic zircona lasts just as long and usually only a diamond expert can tell the difference. diamond nexus labs basically make very nice cz rings. some cz rings are poorly made and are made with sterling silver..the places your looking at make them in gold and platnum..and niceer settings. as longs your fiance is ok with cz and doesnt get mad for not getting a diamond id say go with it. people put too much stress on getting diamonds.
I second the moissanite – I have a pair of moissanite earrings and no one can tell they aren’t diamonds. I wear them all the time and they have never clouded. Plus, moissanite is as hard as sapphire. Sparkles like crazy too. Good luck!
I agree cubic zirconia is cheap, it is used in every day costume jewelery sold in numerous places. it isn’t proper for an engagement ring.
