How Much Sem*n Quantity Does A Woman Need To Get Pregnant?

My HD sem*en is very low quantity. Probably only 1/2 of teaspoon. He had kid from the previous marriage, is that a problem for someone who is trying to get pregnant? We baby danced right all the time but I haven’t got lucky yet. We have been together 4 years. What do I do?

Well all it takes is for one Sperm to fertilize the egg and every min of everyday a male produces 50,000 sperm so i think that you still have a good chance of getting preg. just don’t BD every day do it every other day you have a better chance of conceiving…..
    I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK

The quantity of semen has nothing to do with the chances of conception. Semen is just the fluid that carries the sperm. If the sperm count is not low, there’s no reason to be concerned.
    Good luck to you!

I’d say in this case it’s not really quantity, but more under the line of quality. Just takes one sperm.

You need a very and I mean very small quantity to become pregnant. Some women have even become pregnant from the pre-semen which can be released before a man ejaculates. have you and your hubby had a semen analysis? Most insurance companies will pay for it and it can be done at most Quest labratories now. All he needs is a lab slip. If you’ve been trying for four years you may want to take the next step. But dont stop having faith and dont stop trying. It will happen for you!!! Make sure you and your hubby are only BDing every other day the few days before ovulation and during ovulation. This will give his body more time to develop more sperm. Also there are anywhere between 50 to 500 million sperm that are released from a normal ejaculation but I read that only about 500 of those actually make it to the egg!! Good Luck Hun!!!
