The History of the Seminar
The history of the seminar can be dated back to an ancient method of learning called the Socratic method. In ancient Greece the subjects of investigation tended to be of a metaphysical of moral nature such as the existence of god or the difference between good and evil. Socrates is often regarded as the father of moral philosophy and ethics as they are understood in the West.
